This country is bigger and more important than any individual. Ghana's army is a professional institution made up of citizens of Ghana and no other country. It doesn't matter which part of the country they come from. What is wrong with an army that wants to have an excercise to keep fit at the beginning of the year. Do we have to read meaning into everything? In any case what are we across of? Please let us stop politicking with any and every issue. As I have already indicated Ghana is bugger than any individual or group of people and we should not take the relative peace our country is enjoying for granted. A word to a wise is enough.

If it's PROVEN in the court of law that the votes of the electorate were STOLLEN by the rulling crooks, the Army can march from Bawku to Half-Assini, it's the choice of the majority that will prevail. Look at Egypt for a perfect example, that AK-47s are NO MATCH to LOGIC, DEMOCRACY and RULE of LAW. NDC wake up and DON'T worsen your already violent trademark. Use the army to attempt to intimidate and you'll be in for a real shock!! Useless coup party which understands ONLY BLOOD and VIOLENCE, and has no understanding of the RULE of LAW.

There is nothing wrong with the Ghana Armed forces embarking on this rout match to mark the New year's day as far as the police is not involved in this exercise.
The GAF has its objectives for embarking on the exercise as it is not new in various democratic societies. Be it a away of showing their might, awakening their morals and spirit, deterring potential trouble makers or celebrating their unprecedented successes over the years; so be it.
Gone are the days when armed robbers and fraudsters where scared to death to engage in their vices because of the prominence of the soldiers but democracy was nothing good to write home about then.
Now we have true democracy and the military seem to have been isolated. As a result, one of the reasons the armed robbers and fraudsters are basking the streets and corners of the country with confidence and even have the guts to kill policemen and soldiers.
Most Ghanaians between the ages of 17 and 26 knows nothing about the past years of the military might. This age group are the same group mostly involved in armed robbery and fraud especially what is popularly known as SAKAWA.
It is therefore important to expose these youth and potential robbers to the might of the military along side the effective judiciary in existence.
It is therefore not out of place if the GAF goes on a rout match as far as the police is not involved.

My advise for Mahama is that this idea is definately going to piss off many people and gradually draw support to NPP to strengthen and energise their support base.
Also,Many Ghanaians will see this that Mahama uses his right hand to preach peace to the people of Ghana but uses his left hand at the sametime to impede justice.Many will now see Mahama as a War Mongerer.
Stop this nonsense Mahama for Ghana is not North Korea.
