Rushing with the inauguration of President John Mahama on Jan 7 is NOT the proper way of doing things when a petition is before the Supreme Court (SC). This is not about the merits of the petition; it is the SC which must decide that. We must all wait for the SC to render that decision. Installing a new president BEFORE the SC makes a ruling has troubling implications and sets a dangerous precedent:

You're right "Final Notice". In my view, the Supreme Court should go further: If there are clear cases of “over-voting,” Dr. KwadwoAfari-Gyan should be arrested and prosecuted for breaking the law. If you have difficulty with this proposition, then ask why a tro-trodriver should be arrested for “over-loading.” Further, Returning Officers who did not sign the collation sheets, as well as those polling agents who allowed people to vote without biometric verification, should also be arrested and prosecuted.

THE SIMPLE FACT IS THAT THE NPP AS A PARTY HAS NOT PETITIONED THE SUPREME COURT OVER THE ELECTIONS. THE PETITIONERS WERE INDIVIDUALS IN PERSON OF NANA AKUFFO ADDO, BAWUMIA, AND JAKE OTANKA OBITSEBI LAMPTEY AS CITIZENS OF GHANA. THESE THREE INDIVIDUALS DID NOT STATE IN THE PETITION THAT THEY WERE REPRESENTING THE NPP. THEY ARE ACTING IN THEIR OWN CAPACITY. THIS IS THE FACT. SO THE NPP HAS NO CASE BEFORE THE SUPREME COURT OVER THE ELECTIONS AS A MATTER OF FACT. IT IS THEREFORE COMPLETELY OUT OF PLACE FOR THE KOFI DUBAI AND SIMILAR GROUPS WITHIN THE NPP TO THREATEN AND ATTEMPT TO GAG EX-PRESIDENT KUFFOUR ON THE GROUNDS THAT HE HAS GONE AGAINST THE PARTY'S STAND IN DECIDING TO ATTEND THE STATE FUNCTION OF PRESIDENT MAHAMA'S INAUGURATION. THE GROUPS TRYING ALL THIS AND BREWING TROUBLE MUST BE AWARE OF THIS. AMAZINGLY THE BISHOPS, PASTORS, OVERSEERS AND ARC-BISHOPS WHO HAVE NOW BECOME POLITICAL ARE SO FAR QUIET ABOUT ALL THESE THREATS TO THROW SHOES AND WHAT NOTS AT AN EX-PRESIDENT. WHY IS THERE THIS SILENT PERIOD. I EXPECT THAT AS USUAL IN THEIR PULPITS ON SUNDAY THEY SHOULD OPENLY CONDEMN THIS ATTITUDE OF THE NPP YOUTH / SUPPORTERS AND CALL THEM TO ORDER. WE WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY HAVE FOR US IN THIS CASE.

For Bawumia, I am tempted to remind him of what Ben Ephson said about him when the former came out with his opinion on the 2012 elections.
JAKE should publish his credentials of his educational background for us to see how much he fared in his academic struggle in life. Ghanaians need peace of mind to think of their way forward.
