The Minority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah- Bonsu, should also not accept his position since his it would be illegitimate until the Supreme Court case is over.

  • United Ghana 11 years ago

I note that kyei Mensah-Bonsu isn't boycotting the 'illegimate' rent allowance rise, granted by the 'illegitimate' government and parliament. NPP are just shameless and self-serving

  • Kofi Asaase Asa--- Mantukwa 11 years ago

You should wait till any of them is paid.

These parliamentarians are professional men and not 'veranda boys'. They are self-made men with good jobs. Politics is just a vocation or a part-time job to many of them.

  • cosika from UK 11 years ago

I think this is cheating on the npp MPs part, they should boycott wages , salaries and all the allowances. You can not take money without working. This is a cheat on every citizen of Ghana. Ghana TAX PAYERS should wake up.

  • Kofi Asaase Asa--- Mantukwa 11 years ago

You are not being fair. In accounting, this may be called 'idle time'.

Your anger should fall on The Supreme Court to expedite the hearing of the petirtion. Period.!

  • Kwadwo 11 years ago

Kofi Asaase Asa-Mantukwa, when workers go on strike in the developed world, their union gives them an allowance because they are not paid by the company they work for. I think that should apply to the boycotting MP's.
