Sometimes I doubt if some of you Ghanains read articles before making coments. Ghana is bigger than NDC and NPP. The country cannot come to a halt because one of them refused to work. Were the MP's sacked from parliament or they refused to do the work that they were elected to do. Why should that be a consciense problem for someone? Ask the NPP MP's if their conscience serves them right for taking tax payers money and not working. You seem to be addresing your grieviances to the the wrong person. Why should JAKE who is not an MP be giving orders to MP's? If the NPP truely respects the constitution which gives them the power to go to court and also boycot parliament, then they should know that the same constitution legitimizes president Mahama until the supreme court comes out with a ruling. Sometimes people need to come out of their tribal cloths and think about Ghana first for once.

I am disappointed by the comment raised by Mr Alfred Agbesi who in his position as the vice chairman of the Appt Committee, fell short of parliamentary democracy where on vetting procedure on state ministerial appointments. Mr Agbesi should remind himself that like any other political position his position is unteanable and temporal. He is a servant of state of Ghana and should not impose his views on Ghanaian electorate. Democracy is simply give and take, without this simple concept, there would be always a state of anarchy if people like Mr Agbesi fail to recognise this simple concept. The practice of democratic dispensation is structured on a countrys constitution, previous precidents, and government white paper. Its time to review GHANA constition.

The NPP should know that without it political activities in and out of parliament will not come to a halt. The NPP will never be allowed to hold the nation to ransom because of their inordinate ambition to rule the nation.Ghana as a nation is far,far bigger than the NPP.

As former chairman of the appointments committee, it appears Blayne' party affinity and interests are clouding his judgment here. If you say this is not good for democracy then you MUST CONDEMN AND NOT SUPPORT IT. What is so difficult about taking a principled position like that? What sorts of politicians do we have in Ghana who cannot call a spade a spade? Does Blau realise the seriousness of this precedent?

The NPP Mp's should not forget that despite their party affiliation, they were elected by the ghanaian electorate to represent their interest in a major block of democracy-parliament.
At the turn of these suppossed unfortunate development of boycotting ministerial vetting I am begining to feel that the NPP MP's uphold party dedication on a higher pedestal than the interest of the electorate....They should remember that they were elected by ghanaians who are beginning to think twice about their(NPP) loyalty to them (Gh)...what pisses me off is the false impression the NPP is creating that they are promoting the course of democracy...go to court? yes thats what the constitution says but boycott important stuff in parliament? is evident that the NPP's train has derailed n this is really "unfortunate"...to make matters worse these mp's cant even convince us the NPP is in court..as far i know Akuffo Addo n co are in court against mahama,ec n NDC
