NPP is now focusing on unsigned pick sheets instead of the fraud the talked about. If EC Officials did not do their work, why should the President be accused of stealing the election. Beside, all the parties polling agents did sign their sheets, so what is the big deal. Is Akuffo Cocaine saying it is only the areas that, the president won were the affected places? I am sure this is not the first election, that the EC officials did not sign their sheets. NPP should give me a break.

The author of the article would have done himself and readers an excellent service if he could tell us the total of unsigned pink sheets from polling stations that were won by Nana Akufo Addo and accepted by the EC as valid but excluded by Nana Akufo Addo et al in their petition.
Just giving one example is not good enough, though I accept that if Nana Akufo Addo et al only presented selective evidence that is in their favour and (deliberately) left out similar evidence that is against them, then they have no moral grounds to complain about electoral fraud.
Margaret Jackson, it is important for your readers to know the total of the unsigned pink sheets in constituencies won by Nana Akufo Addo. This is important because it would be necessary to do a comparative analysis of the figures between Mahama and Nana Akufo Addo. For example, if the omission is disproportionately higher in areas won by one candidate, what would that say?

Interestingly you seem to know the details of all the pink sheets in question and since you have a lawyer defending your cause at the SC one would have thought that you will allow the lawyer to use this evidence you have to you and your party's advantage. Some weeks ago you came up to defend the foreign registered voters with your own argument completely different from what the EC averred in their response to the petition. A day after , the EC could only account for about 3,000 of those forign voters!!!!"Margaret", you may take on a lawyer's gown and put across your so-called legal education before the SC where it will be very relevant. For now you can only throw dust into the eyes of those whose ignorance you have continued to take advantage of over the years with this kind of article. Ghana and Ghanaians deserve better.

NPP promised to give Ghanaians the evidence but has failed to do so bcse they have none.
Do you think you can hide your evidence from the rest of Ghanaians and bamboozle the SC judges with thousands of sheets secretly in court?

Personally I have been waiting for some analysis like you have done for far too long from the NPP but their supporters have taken to story. NPP should have provided this such info to Ghanaian long before they went to court telling (fairy tales) when they have the opportunity.
However, you failed to quote the part of the EC law which supports your claim. However, even if no such law exists, it is common sense and in the spirit of the constitution to the extent that no Ghanaian should not be denied his vote.

Kudos to you Ms Margaret Jackson for this critical information. You have really educated me on some of the numerous laws and regulations of the EC which I'm sure a host of others are also ignorant of.
The point I am referring to which you had earlier made is that if for some reason a party's polling agent refuses to sign the pink sheet and also fails to provide the reason for his/her refusal to sign the pink sheet, the results will be counted as VALID!!
Akufo-Addo has consistently shown himself as lacking basic common sense and professional expertise. Do you recollect as the AG he charged someone "The President vrs...?" It has been alledged that he does not have a degree in law but a certificate as having being a Law Clerk; so we don't expect too much from him but this...
In any human endeavour, there are bound to be mistakes, faults, etc. The reason being that we are humans and not perfect. If you look at the past US elections, there were problems, allegations and complaints but the declared loser accepted the verdict for the good and unity of the country. But in Akufo-Addo's case, NO; he has to by ALL means become a president even when you do not have the qualities and you have lost. Most observers; both local and international have declared the 2012 elections credible but Akufo-Addo because it was not in his favour says it was rigged.
I want to make an appeal to Ms. Magaret Jackson to set up a meeting between her and Akufo-Addo to explain all these to him to save him from further disgrace. Much harm has already been done to him and the NPP; how they proceed from here will determine if the party stays relevant ar is dstroyed.

Would you consider all these issues you have outlined as "irregularities"?
If you do, my next question is: Does the constitution of Ghana allow irregularities in the normal course of an election on the scale as you stated; "boxes full of unsigned pink sheets".
Finally, why was such a huge and widespread shirking of responsibity by the Returning Officers, when all they had to do as the reason for being employed on that day, was to sign the pink sheets; an action that will have taken no more than three seconds.
You see? that is the reason why people go to court, because the facts can be twisted to make it look like a lie or something insignificant.
If you want to know why the NPP is in court, find out why thousands of returning officers who were supposed to take three seconds and authenticate a document did not do so.
