Mr. President have pity also for Ghana Railway workers. They are not asking for increase in salaries. They are only pleading that their salaries for Jan,Febr,Mar be paid to them.Ghana Railway workers have not recieved a pesewa in the form of salaries this year 2013.Mr. President, you met railway workers on the 11th of November,2012 and you gave the workers hope and good promises.None of these promises has become a reality. The Minister of Finance does not see why Railway workers cannot work and pay itself. How can railway workers work and pay themselves when all their lines are closed except Takoradi to Nsuta and Accra to Nsawam/Tema.Governments over the years have not invested in the railway tracks hence the closure of almost 90% of the railway network. If the current government is not ready to support the railway workers then the workers should rather be paid off.The Finance Minister who does not see any good thing in Ghana Railway should make the necessary recommendations to cabinet instead of starving the poor railway worker.Considering the current situation in Ghana how can one work for Jan,Febr,Mar and not recieve any salary?Mr.Finance Minister is gradually killing the railway workers.Mr.President,railway workers are also human beings. You are the only one who can save the railway worker.Your Finance Minister and Controller and Accountant General will rather kill Railway workers. They will starve them to death and make sure their children are sacked from school.

GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONNARIES MUST DESIST FROM BEHAVING ARROGANTLY BUT TALK WITH MATURITY WHEN SOLVING PROBLEMS INVOLVING WORKERS.
THEY MUST SEEK ADVISE WHENEVER THEY ARE CONFRONTED WITH ISSUES BEYOND THEIR COMPETENCE AND EXIBIT MATURITY ALL THE TIME TO PROPEL THE COUNTRY FROWARD.
MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN POWER FORGET THAT BUT FOR POLITICS, THEY NOWHERE COMPARE TO MOST OF THE WORKERS THEY DEAL WITH.IT IS VERY CHILDISH TO ADVISE GOVERNMENT TO `SACK' WORKERS WHEN THEY SEEK REDRESS THROUGH PROTESTS AFTER GOVERNMENT HAS CONSISTENTLY REFUSED TO PROVIDE SOLUTION TO THEIR GENUINE DEMANDS.
GHANA HAS COME VERY FAR AND COMPETENT ADMINISTRATORS ARE REQUIRED TO STEER THE AFFAIRS OF THE NATION, THE PRESIDENT MUST TRY AS MUST AS POSIBLE TO FILL MINISTERIAL POSITIONS WITH QUALIFIED PERSONNEL WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO ADDRESS THE CONCERNS OF THE NATION.
