The message sent by RLG is surely a red flag which decent minded parliamentarians need to watch. Why should RLG give the offer to parliamnetarians and not the District Assemblies if indeed they really want to do give a humanitarian assistance. By their action it appears RLG has a hidden agnda which decent minded MPs need to watch. It's a recipe for corrupting MPs.

It's this same kind of piss-poor thinking that allowed Europeans to enslave us and loot our natural resources for close to 400 years.
Here we have public enemy number ONE who has been found to have looted our treasury under various scams and guises running into hundreds of millions of dollars. He offers to build boreholes that cost less than GHC 50,000 each in your constituencies and you jump at it, without holding him accountable for the hundreds of millions.
Ghana is indeed a moron nation!

God and posterity will not forgive any of the MPs who decides to accept that corrupt assistance from Mahama's RLG. We the rural fokes prefer to live without corrupt so called free boreholes. I rest my case.

Look at MPs who are to fight for the betterment of this country labelling a successful Ghanaian entrepreneur as corrupt without any shred of proof.Where are we heading? Why do we want to destroy the success stories of our own because of politics? NPP did the same thing to companies they perceived as "NDC". During their 8 years in office they made sure they knocked all such "NDC" companies down. What wrong has Rlg done? Whether the boreholes are provided through chiefs, District Assemblies or MPs what difference does it make except that some of our people who are virtually drinking mud should be provided with good drinking water. Shame on all politicians who would want to score a negative point by politicising this offer. Water is Life. Let our people have life.

I find it laughable when some MPs, purely because of their party affiliations and hatred for such a successful company, dismiss outright and suggest that RLG is seeking to somehow 'bribe' them!!! Far from it! What Rlg is doing is called "CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY" and the fact that they have offered to drill boreholes, a source of WATER which is one of the biggest ESSENTIAL NEEDS of all humans in ALL CONSTITUENCIES should be applauded rather than condemned.
The mere fact that they are digging boreholes in all constituencies goes to show that they are being even handed, fair and not seeking to influence anyone. You are free to be critical of the company whichever way you want if they do wrong, and that should not affect this kind and patriotic / benevolent gesture.
Funny old world!! It is OK for Bill and Melinda Gates to throw money at projects in water, agriculture, health etc. in our country, yet if another successful IT guru who happens to be local or Ghanaian tries to do similarly, then some blinded by party and not understanding their role as MPs start to jump about!!! Indeed it is true - A PROPHET IS NOT ACCEPTED IN HIS OWN LAND!!!

You do not require an MPs permission to drill a borehole in a constituency. If a company wants to drill 275 boreholes, simply pull up google maps and pick the spots.
Approaching MPs with this brazen offer is entirely inappropriate at this time.
