What has come over this country? Dont we have any more officials of merit, conscience and professional ability in public office anywhere, anymore?

If Parliament is in the process of discussing several issues related to financial misconduct of the donor, how can Parliament stoop so low to accept what can only be seen as an obvious attempt to bribe and to mollify the entire membership of Parliament?

Even if for nothing at all, this Agambire boy and his Rlg, have caused immense public uproar on the same issues of financial malfeasance in the past couple of weeks. This alone should have prompted the administrators of Parliament to reject the offer without any conditions until the issues related to Rlg have been cleared honorably. What is this mess, for Gods sake?

If such nonsense and incompetence is taking place at the very heart of the management of our much abused country, one can imagine what else is going on in the other arms of govt which are less visible and less audible.

If our state institutions were to be functioning effectively, the Agambire boy would have been arrested long before this brazen act of treason hit the media.

I do not think that this country has ever sunk so low and it is sad to watch it sinking lower everyday as we wake up to one disheartening news after the other.

Why is this shameless Agambile trying to use parliament for this free offer when there are so many institutions( like the ministry of Local Govn't) which can undertake such project, and expertially at this crucial time this same greedy cow is under investigation for planting trees on the savanna dry land in the dry season? You dont deserve to pass comments on topical issues here on Ghanaweb if you cannot see this offer as insincere and an attempt to induce the agust house of parliament. The President, bombarded with so much talk of corruption , is seen to wake up but he is not erective enough to strike a dent. I quote this from a forum of some intelligent minds ;

So the Herald cannot write anything that makes sense, without mentioning something negative about the NPP.

Assuming, C5 million was given to this Company to start something; how does that compare with the naked stealing of C150 billion givn by the party you support, without anything coming out of it; not to mention the Cmillions thrown into tree planting saga, again with nothing to show for the handout?
