I totally support Arthur Kennedy for his assessment of NPP MP's,their performance has been abysmal.Compare it to when Akufo-Addo,Osafo Marfo,Hackman etc were there.Could it also be that the party failed to groom talents?

If that was the case why did the minority vote with the majority to approve it? Even if the minority had their say and the majority had their way as usual, then Ghanaians would have known that at least, the minority are playing the role of holding the Executive to account for their deeds.

But Deputy Minority Leader Dominic Nituwul disagrees with the assertions of the former presidential aspirant.

Mr. Nitiwul told XYZ News in an interview that the current leadership has been in office for just a little over a year and has worked hard to expose the ruling NDC governments’ incompetence.

He added that the Minority MPs have distinguished themselves creditably contrary to Mr. Kennedy’s criticism.

“I don’t believe that Arthur Kennedy wants the Minority especially the leadership to go on the streets and be fighting everybody. I don’t believe that he thinks we should be fighting NDC in Parliament before people know we are working, the minority has distinguished themselves very eloquently”.

If anybody could ignorantly question the excellent performance of the current crop of NPP minority, it should never have come from a person in the stature of Arthur K. Whaaat? Is Arthur K not aware that, even though NDC is in power yet NPP is in charge of government? If NPP had not been effective in the last and current parliament, only God knows the level of corruption that NDC would plunged us into. Would there have been any mention of woyomey, gyeada, suba and sada? Look the recent mess in Mahama's incessant loan contracts. 2. refusal to use your parliamentary rights and as the largest opposition party to influence and be part of the committee in vetting prospective candidates for ministerial and other positions for the leadership of the country
3. considering the waist of precious time NPP spent on personal and party politics instead of your cooperation towards National agenda.
4. that you prefer to boycott Parliament but went for the sandwiches and the beer during the reception for the sitting you boycotted.
5. considering your boycott of the swearing in of the President HE John Dramani Mahama on a rather flimsy and unintelligent excuse.
6. imagine your all cry and the 'we will make the government ungovernable' mantra.
7. of course NPP's irresponsible and unintelligent comments and utterances which in effect brought negative and unchallenging to the Nation and the party.
8. considering NPP executives political and intellectually lazy utterances and rhetoric which more often than not bring the activities of the party into disrepute.
9. considering the petty and vindictive fabrications and lies against political opponents and especially against your own party members/sympathisers.
10. considering your unhelpful attacks and abuses on any person who criticise the party or anyone who expresses his views or makes an opposite view/s to yours.
11. NPP perception that anyone who differs from their views is enemy instead of taking the comments as food for thought.
12. that NPP has refused to find out why the party could not be and somehow, still remains unelectable for governance in Ghana.
13. that just denying the Ghanaians perception about NPP being an Akan oriented party, nothing positive has been done to refute this view instead, the party has adopted rhetoric and abuses as a means of dealing with this problem which, one believes would not go away unless something practical and positive is done to enhance others to be assimilated into the party and respected as NPPians.
14. that the respected senior members of the party, who cold act as mentor, advisors and negotiators to enhance the image of the party have rather regrettably, chosen to resign to doing nothing positive to enhance the image of the party by bringing to order those whose irresponsible statements and actions, seem to appeal to the mobs.
So now you can see why Dr Kennedy is sincerely voicing out his honest views. A word to a wise is enough.

The honourable disputes the claim by Dr Kennedy and adds that the MPs have just been one year in office. What does he want to imply by that? One meaning can be that "oh we have been in office for just a little over 1 year so do not expect that much from us."
You have been in office for this short period so we should allow you to sleep!! You are not ticking at all!! You better woke up and start working otherwise you risk being voted out.
The other point is that you admit you been in office for a relatively short time so we should not expect you to be up n doing. Ok, but you the same party has been attacking the President Mahama for not delivering on his campaign promises. It is nit also a relatively short time for you to expect him then to deliver?
If you Minority MPs cannot be said not to be working due to an issue of your time in office having being short, the same can be applied to the President. Shame unto you for your inactivity?
