Vat shouldn't be charged on savings, investments etc. You need to get the populace to stop.spending and save. When employers issue employers their paychecks. Vat must be deducted from such revenues and this deduction must be done by the employers issuing the checks, not the banks. Can someone tell this confused govt to do their research before implementing their silly rules. How are other advanced societies doing this?
