Hon. FIFA President, Mr. Sepp Blatter, thank you for your inspirational message. Please check into the latest FIFA rankings which places Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana under Algeria who lost to both countries in the just-ended AFCON-2015 tournament in Equitorial Guines. I believe these countries needs better placing in World Football rankings. Thank you.

Victor, I used to complain about fifa rankings like u r doing b4 I learnt n understood the system. They reward points for every win. Higher points for winning against a higher ranking team. They also deduct points by losing. Deduct higher points from ur accumulated points when u lose against a low ranking team. We didn't know the accumulated points of Algeria b4 the tournament but we know they didn't lose a single match. We lost a match against low ranked Uganda n drew 2. So they might have been far ahead of us in terms of points. So by reaching the finals, Ghana might have gained a lot of points to add to our accumulated points but mind u, we lost two matches. We lost points for that. Algeria reaced semi finals n lost 2 matches. Here ghana will be slightly ahead of them in terms of points but that may not be enough to overtake them in terms of accumulated points. I hope u understand. If Ghana goes ahead of Algeria just bcos we have beaten them, then it means USA should also go ahead of Ghana cos they beat Ghana. but that's not how the ratings are done.

How to win afcon!
"Defence wins championships!" declared a triumphant Michael Jordan in 1991.......
To win afcon, Ghana must have a team with these qualities
1. Experience coach: the coach's relative experience must be at par or supercede that of his competitors in africa
2. Skillful Players: for when the game make hard like atwomo, tahweee!. U need skillful players, no fear niggas who can get the ball into the 18 with spectacular dribble, freekicks outside 18. U need more players like gyan,.Dede,.assifuah,....abedi (komfo, abodam, skillful players) who are willing to push the the envelope and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!
3. Experience Players: the more experience players, the better your team will be at making it deep into the tournament with a clear head, composure when the going gets tough.
Folks, these are the 3 ingredients every trophy winning team must have to win a trophy. It's easy to.win afcon becos many African teams lack these 3 qualities. Shehata was able to win over and over becos his team always had these qualities...
*Ghana won all 4 precious afcon trophies with local players. Keshi won afcon with mostly unheralded local players. Same with 3peat egypt! Libya won chan with local players. Ghana has proven time again that we can't win afcon trophy with foreign based players
*The bstar squad should be made up of 11 foreign based players and 12 local and African based players. Wcup will have more foreign based players still. If ghana takes more foreign based players to afcon. They will come home empty handed, AGAIN. Trust me! Goalies: 1 of your 3 goalies must be a penalty savings expert!

Under his stewardship Ghana has won World U20 World Cup. Why then do we treat such a man with contempt?

I think the problem with Nyantakyi and Co. is that, they became swollen-headed and started to mess up like many Ghanaians with higher positions. The blow came all of a sudden and now he is fighting for his life. If he survives, which is likely to happen because he has a great defense team of criminals, that will be his greatest achievement. Nyantakyi is a looter but I don't think he is as bad as those in the government. All eyes are on him because the Black Stars has the most followers of any organization in Ghana, more than even Christianity or Islam.

At the time you are referencing, the whole of Africa had only one spot for the WorldCup, and later increased to 2. Then when Cameroun with Roger Milla reached the final 8 in1990, Africa was given a third spot. Now, Africa has 5 spots. Don't you think that makes it easier for the Black Stars to qualify under Nyantakyi's GFA? Use the law of probability to see whether Nyantakyi would done well if we still only had 1African spot. Stop comparing apples and oranges.

I think Blatter has shown his class and his appreciation of what Ghana achieved in EG. The profile of our national team has been lifted again and that can only be good. Though we did not win the cup, everyone acknowledges that we deserved to have won it. This makes Ivory Coast's victory a hollow one. Let our boys keep their form and commitment and we have the chance to win the next one surely

Having castigated the Black Stars post the World Cup,we must praise and appreciate their commitment in the ACN in EG.Thanks guys for upholding the flag of Ghana.

Home boy is just looking for support from afcon in the coming election. He already got the support of the Asian confederation. I'm sure he secured south America as well. He he need to solidify all these considerations and then he will plead his case to concafa for support. Eurofa has told him the will not support him so if he can win the rest of the confederations then it will over rule Eurofa decision. Ghanaians are scared of obroni so they will support him after he mentioned blackstars.

However, would you rather have someone from Europe (a continent that traditionally regard African nations and their soccer as inferior), or someone who has encouraged and enhanced African participation in the global sport? If I have a vote, there is no way I am going to vote for an European or Arab candidate, or even vote for a Francophone African candidate.

Good to hear this from you sir! The Black Stars went that far because they had a coach who knew how to bring out the best in good players, and the Black Stars are a team full of enormous talent. Above all they are afraid of no one, because they believe they are good; they have that necessary arrogance not to be intimidated by anyone. All that they needed to go all the way is a coach who knows how to win. Thanks to you coach Grant and thanks to you the Ghana Black Stars, who in my book are the best team today in Africa. It was an absolute delite watching you in the final game. Some of us agree with the FIFA President that it was just unfortunate that you lost because in this particular match, the best team lost. That is soccer/football, anything can happen. Cheers to you guys! To the GFA I will say this, this is the best thing that has happened to the Black Stars in a very long time. You have a great combination going here, don't blow it, yes don't blow it because the past has shown that you are capable of doing just that!!

Victor please the Fifa ranking based on the points that you've already scored but not about winning over the top ranked team.Algeria scored more points during the world cup so it will take Ghana a bit of time to beat them but also based on our performance ahead that can see us through, for example Germany got about 1900+ points so can't just beat them and top the rank because Ghana is just sitting at the moment on 800+ points so it will take some more good performance to be there.

Those who failed to score in the penalty shoot out, have you observe their posture? If you raise your hand like what Acheampong did you lose power and concentration to shoot the ball to score. Again Afiriyie Acquah was playing some antics that is going left and then right before kicking the ball. By so doing you lose power and also concentrating . The goalkeeper was also rushing to kick the ball. You see penalty taking in football is a very very big business. Do our footballers take penalty taking serious ? I don't think so. About the goalkeeper does he have to move before the ball is kicked or wait until the ball is kicked. I think those who move fast after the ball is kicked do well and same some of the kicks.
