Sometimes, the truth be it subjective or objective is glare but the law courts of ours treat it otherwise, not knowing the other party(ies) habour anger!
My fellow Ghanaians, let us not take one side and judge or condemn, but we should see to it whether the authorities are telling the truth.
Are the military there at the place STOP illegal miners or are there to PROTECT illegal miners?
The indigenes of Denkyira Boase, maybe aggressive, yes, but what made/make them aggressive?
Our rivers and forest are being destroy for detriment our future!

Considering the mining operation was even legitimate, what interest did the government have in it to warrant a detachment of military personnel protecting it. How should we reconcile the claim that the soldiers were there to protect the community? Or were they there to stop galamsey? If either was the case, should those not be the work of the police? Why wouldn't the DCE be in the know, officially, being the chairman of the District Security Council. It is time we started asking serious questions after the dead bury their dead. Be what ever it was, the officer was under orders and the DCE was not blaming him but only stating what he knew. Whose orders? Serious questions need to be asked. We should not allow some irresponsible people whether high ranking military officers or civilians in high places hide behind this painful and gruesome murder, to play on our emotion and cover their criminal activities. We shouldn't wait for another diplomat to come to ask the pertinent questions for us. Like John Benjamin does.We understand that the DCE did not use discretion in his statements, but does he really deserve the punishment that is being demanded. He had a responsibility and a job to do. I am not sure any person in his good senses will demand the sacking of the DCE just because he has spoken the truth. First of all let the military command come out and name the legal miners they were protecting and the legal miners should also speak out. If the military command for want of money sends innocent soldiers to fo illegal duties, those commanders should be brought to book. Why was the officer going jogging with a gun? Why do we ban Ghanaians from galamsey while foreogners are allowed? It is only in Ghana where we respect Chinese and so allow them to rob us. We should go to Europe and see that Africans are more respected than Chinese. Factories are being moved there just because they are the cheapest labour force in the world. Akuffo Addo will be a failure if he dismisses the DCE without first setting up a commission to investigate the death of the soldier. Former President Mahama is very voiciferous. I understand him because he is a blood relation. But he never got involved in similar circumstances. The filling station burning happened when he was president and he knew how he reacted.

How many minutes to drive from Diaso to Denkyira Obuasi just 15 minutes but he got the information and sit on it. The district commander must proceed to suspension as well. For all you know he was waiting for 200 Ghana cedis from the assemblyman before he will despatch police to the seen. Look as a country we must be serious with our police. All the Ghanaian police is on the road collecting money and gifts from drivers

The question is, can't they drive? Where was the driver...? N do you think the students will call the police if next time they get hold of these same armed robbers, don't you think they will handle it in their own way..? Where are the police....? They are on the roadside taking money from drivers. I think there should be a critical check on the police, they are nothing compared to the difinition of police, not loyal to the country.... One of the students who was already having only one arm from birth has now lost the other arm by the robbers and now the lady is armless.... Even they are part of this mob Justice, jst recently they gave some sever beatings to an innocent student on the street. What Government sent the military detachment to Denkyira Obuase and why? The public has heard only one side of the incident put across by the DCE.
