Between Capt Maxwell Mahama and the phone thief who was lynched in Kumasi, subsequent to the death of the former, who is more Ghanaian than the other. Why are Ghanaian splitting hairs over the murder of Capt Mahama and yet, turn blind eyes on injustices perpetrated against other Ghanaians who have equally been victims of mob justice. So far, the only Ghanaian who has issued sensible statements about this canker is Mr Sam Okudzeto. All other statements are just bogus, especially, the ones made by the CDS and Dr Apaak. Ghanaians are too hypocritical.

Since when did you get this idea in mind? How long have you been in the force and how many cases of this nature have you heard, seen or prosecute? As usual you have to protect your job. Talk is cheap.

Then we might as well ensure our corrupt soceity is eradicated of stealing and thievery, because as long as stealing and thievery persist, and the society see it feeli feeli that stealing and thievery has occurred, trust me, lynching will follow ferociously. It is a cause and an effect sort of situation and under such conditions, you would be pushing it, when you start talking about court, court which takes ages to see justice being done.
For example, somebody has gone to buy her land, registered it and everything lawfully, and the next day she comes and some Inusah or Tony somewhere has gone to take the land, built on it and claims it's for him. Would it be right for her to raze the building to the ground or you will say she should go to court?
Cause and effect is captured in a very strong visceral response which is a reflection of our society's propensity for impunity. When there is no cause, there will be no effect. In the example cited above, under no circumstances should Inusah or Tony go and take her land and build on it and say to her, go to court. It shouldn't happen in the first place at all. The lawlessness that makes it possible for Inusah or Tony to think it is "lawful" for him to take her land, also makes it possible for her to raze the building to the ground. The bottom line is Ghanaians abhor stealing and thievery and to eradicate instant justice, stealing and thievery must not exist. We should have a very clear appreciation of the issues surrounding instant justice and address them rapidly if it is to be eradicated.

Mr IGP, start by arresting those who assaulted a Senior Police Officer at the Flag Staff house! As long as the Delta Force and invincibles are treated with kid gloves under your nose, impunity will continue. Don't begin to put in measures, do your work as a professional, effect the arrest of perpetrators of the beating of ASP Nanka Bruce and we will know you are serious.

aha, now, really everyone gives his good comments and statements ... everyone tells, what they want to change ... it is like a competition like "who is doing it better". Now they are running like roused chickens. YES, this time, there was not lynched only a anonymous person, oh no, this time it was a well known one, the nephew of former president; how many people (men, women and children) have already died in mob lynching actions in Ghana?? And by what simple reasons these murder teams have begun their work? Here it was an accusation of witchcraft, there it was not dressed correct (what means correct?), another time it was an albino, or, like now, a suspected thieve or cheater.
This lynching actions are well known in Ghana since many decades of years ... and it became not lesser (think, you have celebrated 60th anniversary with constitution) (LOL) But all the time, it was done nothing against.
WHY?? Is it, because it is, like former president Mahama already have said, that Ghanaians will forget very fast ??? Or is it only a result of incompetence in job??
I hope, this time, government, lawyer and police will do their job correct.

To eradicate instant justice, corruption must stop within the police ranks and secondly, sir, all other cases of instant justice victims must be re-visited, to be seen to be partial across board...........to include all citizens of GHANA, NOT A CHOSEN FEW.
GOD BLESS GHANA!
AFRICAN FOREVER!

Armed robbers can stop and steal cars, go to people's homes and kill and steal, police and military join in armed robbery or provide arms sometimes. This is what started instant justice because the police were always late to help people so they have to help themselves. My sympathy to cast. mahama and his family. He is a victim of justice. Instant justice serves as a deterrent to armed robbery. Stopping it just makes armed robbers happy. The police and military and government should uproot armed robbers and instant justice with automatically go away. this is not murder. It is manslaughter . Its justice gone sour. rip captain. And people stop following masses and think for a minute.
God bless Ghana.
