"Brain rejuvinator", you have the brain of an infant. The question as to whether a soldier's life matters more than that of other victims of lynchings, is a legitimate question and not "silly". Has there been national condemnation of the lynching of that old woman in the North? Was she not a human being like the deceased soldier? Is anyone interested in the lynching of the defenceless old woman? Where is the media and national frenzy about her death? Does anyone care about her death at all? Or her life didn't matter because she was a poor, illiterate nonentity? She was someone's mother or grandmother? On the other hand, everybody in the country is trying to do better at expressing horror over the death of a soldier. Does this not amount to shameful national double standards and hypocrisy? Is it therefore not legitimate to ask whether one person's life matters more, simply because he belonged to the military? The double standards dilute the sympathetic attitude of many, towards the death of the soldier. And now the opposition tabloids, like the Herald and Alhajj are in a frenzy, literally inciting soldiers to take over government. Their party lost the elections, and they wish that if they couldn't be in power, then it's better for the military to take power. What sore losers! The military will be resisted if they interfere in constitutional governance, and they will be sent back to the barracks where they belong.

Wisdom, you are unwise. I am not a soldier. Those citizens you are referring to did not offer their lives to protect the lives of all of us. There is no equality anywhere. That is why he was Captain and you are probably nobody but just you.To the soldiers, they cannot get the real culprits in the town now. Those left behind are those who actually did not have a hand in the murder. The real culprits have bolted. For now, you will need to build a dossier from the videos on social media of the culprits. Isolate every single person captured in any of those videos. There should be more than 30 people in those videos. Use the arrested culprits and let each one of them identify at least 5 people in the videos. This will expand the coverage. Patience moves mountains. Just keep your calm and see the conclusion on this matter. There is no way anybody can forget or will not feel outraged if you see the videos. You are professionals. You should know how to map out and strategize to get the culprits. There is nothing wrong with doing a parallel investigation. That is what you should be asking for. Anytime I see a soldier in uniform, I feel like I am seeing Captain Maxwell, I shed tears. The Captain must and will get justice. His grave will command more respect than his killers. We will all die one day. The Captain is gone a HERO. Life is not how long you live but how worthy you life has been. Please, I know GOD Himself will wipe Captain Maxwell Adams tears in heaven.

I was once slapped by a soldier only because I had mistakenly stepped on his shoes,he was in uniform then so I had to respect his uniform however I told myself if I couldn't fight him I should retaliate to hurt him back for the pain and embarrassment his slap caused me. Unknowingly to him I followed him to the barracks and identified his hse and saw his kids. I later went back there to the barracks and saw his daughter of about 5yrs,I was driven by the anger I had in me to hurt this poor little innocent girl really bad but I thank God I remembered some forgiving stories from the Bible to let go of the girl when I had succeeded in getting her to an obscure place where I could have done anything to her an walked free from the law without being noticed. I rather bought her chocolate and some candies and walked away,till now I'm always glad I didn't hurt the little girl. Soldiers should know they're not super humans,yes you sign up for our national protection and that's why our tax paying monies are used to take you guys. Ghana is sorry about your/our loss but u guys should also know that the way you guys feel now is the same way we also feel when you brutalize us. That said I want all soldiers who'll read this to know that we know they're humans just like us so their intimidating and bullying attitude should stop. There's one adage which goes like; a bully would one day meet the manly side of the person he always bullys when he has had enough of his bullying attitude. Maxwell,your death is very painful and regrettable. Ghana is sorry and we hope you find it in your heart to forgive us. I hope Ghana will heal and learn the positive lessons your painful death throws at us. The Law is well taught in Training to appreciable levels for anyone in Uniform to know what he has the right to do and,what actions infringe the Law.The Military Police has not business in the gruesome killing of their colleague(Capt -Mahama) deployed to help in Police duties in the Town,in my personal opinion.(This raises the question of, is there not a Police Task Force,or Police Special Forces in the Country?). It's ridiculous for some Soldiers to think - "not everything that you take to the Civil Police".The idea is a typical exhibition of an ignoramus of the Law or refusal to adhere to the Laws b'cos the Victim is one of their own.The truth is,the Regular Police is everything!.It's unfortunate this Soldier does not know the difference between a Military -Police and their duties, and the Regular Police Force!. A Soldier is not above the Law and therefore,should not think they have the right to engage in reprisal attacks or go beat innocent and unarmed Civilians in the Township

If the people of Denkyira Oboase are to be punished for lynching someone they believed to be an armed robber, do we have to condone the reactions of the military?
