Generally, Ghanaians are hypocrites that is why Ghana is backward in the midst of plenty. Look at how nursing mothers have been detained with their babies in connection with this unfortunate murder and it appears human rights lawyers in Ghana have all gone to sleep.I am not the least surprised because if the Minister of Children and Gender Affairs has gone to weep profusely at the funeral of Late Maj Mahama because the deceased is a relative, do you think she will see the need to protect these kids who are being punished for crimes they have not committed.

The second and most important is that the police must be trusted by the people, if they are found to be corrupt, collecting bribes and brushing issues and complaints aside, the people will certainly continue to take law into their own hands for instant justice..
In come poor communities, the complainant is charged a fee for the paper on which the complaint is to be written on and the pen to write. Such acts frustrate the people and would not even seek the help of the police anymore but will take an instant or eventual revenge....
