It is not enough to report the rescuing of trafficked persons and the arrest of human traffickers. The "trafficking" chain must be traced and those involved must be arrested and dealt with accordingly. In the case of childre ...

It is not enough to report the rescuing of trafficked persons and the arrest of human traffickers. The "trafficking" chain must be traced and those involved must be arrested and dealt with accordingly. In the case of children, parents who sell or give out their children must be tried and jailed.
We always lament our circumstances but successful societies are built on law and order.
Honourable Otiko seems tough enough to offer the much - needed leadership in the war against the gross abuse of human rights.
Action taken against traffickers must be highly publicised to serve the necessary deterrence.
