stupid brains. govt shouldnt build any turfs for communities. give the monies to the local mp. why do you even need astro turf? just get the land, grow grass and hire people to attend to the pitch. the mp must appoint a board a group of 3 to 5 people from the community who are well to do to manage the pitch. buy lawn mowers and miracle grow, go secure water to attend to the pitch. any team that wants to play on the pitch must pay a small fee. the board must create a non profit to secure finances from well to do people in the community to maintain the pitch. this is what the white folks you hold in high esteem do. its not rocket science. because of irresponsibility n failing to be a responsible parent, you run towards astro turf. and even that you cant maintain. IDIOTS

AstroTurfs are good but not necessarily what ghana
need to develop our talents. Even in advanced countries they still use natural grass pitches. Misplaced priorities as usual.

AS MP IN THIS COMMUNITY, I WILL MAKE SURE whoever plays on this astro will pay a small fee. create a non profit n use that to generate monies from people inside the community the kenkey n bread sellers. go to them. any funds they give you. use that to upgrade the facility. reach out to the sports ministry for funds. the blame should be put squarely on the fucking mp in this community. very irresponsible and stupid to the core

As usual shifting of blame among all stakeholders! The majority of Ghanaians are very irresponsible, all they know is "chop and quench"! This mentality is the bane of all our problems and troubles in Ghana! Assumming for instance, somebody came around to pay for all our debts, in a few months later , the country would be back to square one, why?!. - Nobody would deem it as his responsibility to see to it that new debts ARE NOT incurred again. People would rather start borrowing again without considering our revenue or income, all we think about is chopping "nyafu nyafu" irrespective of we have in hand! Like I said "chop and quench" that is all that we know!
