Coach Appiah could be wrong for not calling or the call call of certain player, depending on how he envisioned his game plan. He could be wrong with certain players, yet Coach Appiah have the right to call a player of his choice.
The Ayew brothers are wrong to think they deserve a call by the Coach at any given time to the national team. Because they thin they deserve to be called. The Ayew's eye lashes has grown above their eye brows. Arrogance!!!

Hey Bro,
I like your sense of contribution. I personally disagree with Coach Appiah for calling 10 new untested players and only 3 strikers for the tournament. I also disagree with Coach Appiah for fielding Kwadwo Asamoah as a defender rather than the attacking midfielder he is well with Juventus. Further, I also think Coach Appiah failed in his bid to withdraw Wakaso during the game with Bourkina rather than to change Gyan. All these are failures on the Coach's game plan.
Having said all of the above, a Coach should not allow any player to tell him what to do. Nor should a Coach never have to mellow under any pressure from a player, no matter how good the player is.
At this point, and from what I have read regarding the reason behind the resignation letter from Andre, he (Andre) has no right to give the Coach an ultimatum that only when he is guaranteed a permanent position in the team before he will play for B. Stars. If the Coach allows that then other players will also demand similar preference. Coach Appiah will loose control on his coaching ability.
That is never permissible as a coach.
The only way out at this point is for Coach Appiah to talk to the Ayews' behind close doors until the Ayews' agree with the Coach and rescind their decision and render some sort of public apology for the mishaps.
We need the Ayews in the Black Stars just like we need Prince Boateng and Essien in our team. But the Coach has to demand his ultimate respect from any player he calls into his team.
I also like your comment on a player like Solomon Asante. I think he is good but not ready for prime time. Coach Appiah should have included a few new players like Solomon and give them some international play time to groom them for future team building.
In all, I strongly feel disappointed in Coach Appiah.
Finally, it is up to the Coach to work out behind closed doors agreement with the Ayews before he could call them up again. Otherwise, the Coach should stick to his guns and do with out the Ayews.

To Asamoah,
Thanks for the compliment. The fact is that I could be very effective as Black Stars team Manager to arbitrate matters affecting out teams progress. But GFA would not hire somebody like me because they would be asking for trouble. I HATE CORRUPTION!!
First, there seems to be fishy smells all over the circumstances regarding the resignation of Prince Boateng. Our children born and lived outside Ghana have a different mentality and traditional style. I live with my 4 children who behaves differently from my childhood growing up in Ghana. I believe that GfA officials do not understand and know how to deal with, and or treat a young man with tattoo all over himself. Lets face it Prince Boateng is a German. He has lived all his life in Germany. I lived and speak fluent German. GFA officials may have suspected P. Boateng to behave like Asamoah Gyan who produces azonto music. The likes of Prince requires understandable approach to handle his life style.
My children loves fufu only when it is chicken and peanut butter soup. Once we brought home and slaughtered life chicken and prepared their favorite peanut butter soup and they refused to eat because we killed the poor chickens. They did not consider the chicken in all the other soup they loved were all slaughtered. It takes some skills to deal with our own children. We understand both Ghana and "aburokyire" cultures.
I am saying that Gfa and Black Stars officials require some ability to deal with different players we have raised from all over different foreign cultures.
To conclude, Coach Kwasi Appiah has proven to me that he is not up to the job. He demonstrated a trail of many deficiencies as a Head Coach. I think it would be difficult for him to correct all the short comings that would make him a great Coach. Mark my words, Ghana "WILL" not qualify the preliminary round if, "a big if" we qualify for the World Cup. Kwasi Appiah is a material for a Coach assistant or a Technical Staff. I am sorry but I strongly cannot see through Kwasi Appiah's ability as a Head Coach considering his lone striker style of play and how effectively he uses players; including his technical sense on when to substitute a player and the kind of player to bring on the change a game plan. Sorry, Kwasi Appiah failed my test as a Head Coach.

Brother Ali,
I have heard many fans alleged that some players grease the Coach's palm for favors. I strongly disagree. Asamoah Gyan should have been changed in many of our games for being ineffective. Something I will not hold him responsible. Because all the opposing teams made extra effort to double and triple teamed against him. Yet, Coach Appiah kept him playing on, would you hereby alleged that Gyan greases the Coach's palm?
I simply think that the Coach fails to recognize his game plan, to pick the right players and also use the players at the right positions.
From all that I have read about the Ayews, I think they are showing some high level of arrogance. I love both of them. And I think the Coach was wrong for failing to work to include both Ayews in our team. They are good contributors. But the Coach should never, never allow any player to set ultimatums. Never.

What side of the story, after Jordan has stated clearly and precisely that, he wants a permanent spot on the Black Stars team. What else do you want us Ghanaians to expect as his side of the story. The Other one Dede, disrespected us by showing an unprofessional behavior when he was substitued in a game against Malawi. Back to 1978, when Opoku Afriyie was replaced by Willie Klutse in match against the Green Eagles of Nigeria. All and sundry knew back then that Afriyie was our best and top scorer. When the substitution took place, he did not show the kind of behavior Dede showed, he accepted it and it worked for us, because, Klutse equalized for the Black Stars and almost score the winning goal for us (those at the game know exactly what I am talking about). After that, Opoku Afriyie did not ask for any permanent spot on the team, but he came back playing as the best and top scorer, and subsequently did his job to earn us the trophy that year. They should know that Ghana has talent that is why we have them, as such, without them another talented ones would surface. This is Ghana.

Ppa,
Frustration is all posed in your language. I share your pain. Kwasi Appiah has failed to stand up as a formidable coach. I loved him during his young days as a Kotoko and Black Stars Captain.
Kwasi Appiah has demonstrated a trail of failures in decision making as to player selection and painfully, the duties assigned to players on the field. Coach Appiah fails to calculate which player to withdraw in coarse of play and fails to make crucial decisions as to player substitution.
Kwasi Appiah called up 3 goal keepers, about 9 defenders and about 9 midfielders and only 3 strikers. For me, than spelled a team without a bite. On top of it all, Black Stars team has been diluted of tactical, slick and or technical strikers. Gyan is to me just good. I do not rate Gyan as a top grade striker. He is good to have in our team. He could be more effective should the Coach play 2 more strikers along with Gyan. whilst Gyan has always been occupied, double teamed by opponents, he could create space for other strikers. Because Black Stars play a lone striker strategy, scoring goals has been extremely scarce.
Coach Appiah used Kwadwo Asamoah ineffectively. To play K. Asamoah as a defender took all his speed and distribution ability from his play. Watch him play as attacking mid fielder with Juventus. He is effectively great and fun to watch as a Ghanaian.
In many games, Asamoanh Gyan should have been substituted. Because it was obvious that he could not maneuver the aggressiveness of his 2, 3 men opponents. Gyan had no help. Yet the Coach was compelled to keep Gyan to play on; all because of the Coach's vision to play lone striker games. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

I still insist we make an example of the two Ayew brats and expelthem from the team permanently with their ridiculous demands. What they are doing is going to divide the team like father did. How can a mediocre player like Jordan demand a permanent place in Blakstars? The best solution for this nonsense is to allow them to retire permanently without any official talking to them. Let them go. If they are that good they would not be playing for Marseileis. Can they learn humility from Kwadwo Asamoah?
Undisplined players and divided team even with the best elev players in the world cannot win you cups and what the Ayew brothers are doing will divide the team. First of all they are not well liked amongst the Blackstars players and Dede is doing this for two things.
1. To get Kwasi Appiah fired
2. To demand the captaincy and he doesn't have the humility and people skill to captain men unlike the under twenty team. I love to see the two permanently banned from Blackstars because Nigeria did that to their big name players who failed to qualify them for the 2012 AFCON and relied on the local players and some European based players willing to play for the team. Even their Captain, YOBO, for the good of the team was a bench player willing to sacrifice his pride for the good of the team. Dede will never even allow himself to be substituted if we give him the captain band and allow him to choose the Coach for the team. Remember we are not talking of Messi, Falcao or Ronaldho here. I will rather have Wakaso than Ayew.

The Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré has been named the 2011 African footballer of the year.
The Ivory Coast international has established himself as a key player in the City team since arriving at the club from Barcelona in 2010.
Touré scored the winner in City's FA Cup semi-final victory over Manchester United and in the final against Stoke, ending the club's 35-year wait for a major trophy. His displays this season have also helped Roberto Mancini's side to the top of the Premier League.
A statement on the Confederation of African Football's official website read: "The 28-year-old pipped Ghanaian midfielder Andre Ayew and Malian Seydou Keita to scoop the top-most honour at the awards gala on Thursday at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra."
Touré is only the second Ivorian to win the award since its inception in 1992, following in the footsteps of the Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
The award was voted for by the head coaches of the national teams in Africa.

I consider the BBC award more legit than the CAF award since it is decided by fans who appreciate the work of players. Well from what you posted at least you agree with me that he did not just win the BBC award that year, but was also among the best 3 for the CAF Award. And I believe I don't need to educate you on how many times he has been nominated for both awards. Now tell me, how many B Stars players have achieved that, and what does that tells you? It means Black Stars midfielder Dede Ayew at his tender age is one of Africa's best, and simply the best in Ghana at present. That is why he is INDISPENSABLE! Haters like you can continue hating while the sky is the limit to the Ayews.

The BBC African footballer of the yearis like a minor league being compared to the major league. Ask anybody who won the African footballer of the year and the answer will be Yaya Toure and not Andre Ayew.

Thank you brother. Some of us have followed football for a very long time and that is why we could predict long before the tournament that our Senior National team headed by Akwasi Appiah will come home empty handed.
Nowadays, football teams are handled by Managers but not just people who have passed through the coaching course with certificates and call themselves Football coaches. JM, AW, SAF,PG just to mention a few are all Managers who do not only train the team and select players who are going to play in a particular match. They are also responsible for the total development and management of the players under their care and that is why JM will find a way to handle Christiano Ronaldo if he misbehaves because he needs him on the field of play to achieve the ultimate aim of the team. SAF was able to tame a guy like Rooney, gave him all the necessary support and now Rooney is an idol in the Man U team as well as the English National team in terms of character and performance.
Unfortunately, all the haters of Abedi Pele took things personal and supported the coach in doing what he did and he even came out after the tournament to apologise to Ghanaians so what are you guys talking about? He took his own decision and got a massive support from lots of people which resulted in the failure of the team to get to the finals and bring the cup home. If an idol like Maradona could be sacked as the coach of Argentina for poor performance how much more a football trainer like Akwasi Appiah? Massa give us a break!!!

Great points! I agree totally beacause you have made all the points I wanted to make. Dede is using the fact that Ghanaians are disappointed we didn't win AFCON 2013 to get Akwasi Appiah fired. GFA should not give in. Ayew is good and I want him on the team; but not if he is going to be a brat and dictate to the coach. There are a lot of strikers who are better than Jordan. Get Waris into the team and give some local players a chance. I bet there are hundreds of Ghanaian footballers who could play for the Black Stars given the chance and some good coaching.
Ghana is too big for any footballer to hold us to ransom. Personally I think the GFA should not beg ANYONE to come back to the Black stars if they "retire'. If someone wants to quit, let them quit. Others will come up and take their place. And, by the way, don't let Kevin Prince Boateng back into the team. He just wants to go to the world cup in Brazil.
Finally, all these proud footballers should look at Kwadwo Asamoah. He even gave up the coveted number 10 jersey because he knew Dede wanted it badly and he didn't want that to be a cause of problems in the team. What a gentleman! May God bless him and prolong his football career. And may God bless our homeland Ghana.

If employees were to be quitting a company everyday, do you think there is an issue with the employees or the management of the company? Guys please use the brains given you and stop hating. If GFA were thinking like you, they would not be making efforts as they are doing now to get the Ayews to rescind their decision. Hence, they know they are doing something wrong causing these resignations. Look talk of big names, Did Brazil not win the worldcup and dominate with big names? or France? or Cameroon? or recently Spain? care to know, Big names also do matter, if you have the right team and management around you. Did the Ayews not win the under20 worldcup first time ever? You guys keep thinking like this and not solving the issues from the roots, trust me, players will keep resigning everytime and we will definitely not have a team that gel with each other. Tackle the problem from the roots and leave the Ayews alone.

The incorrigible Ayews whose egos are over expanding for whatever reasons cannot be allowed to have things their own way in any team. That'd defeat any team building efforts, whether it's at the club or national level. Those of you agitating for the Ayews to have their way in the team are the real Mafia not the GFA.Even the greatest players in the world like Pele and Maradona were substituted and did not let out a whimper. Who do they think they are? Their father Abedi Ayew has walked that path before with the BS in the 1980s. With all his talents and as captain, he was the reason the greatest Black Stars group ever assembled in terms of individual talent became also the blundering generation of under achievers. I call it a group because it was never a team in the truest sense of the word. Abedi retired from the team a number of times and it took the legislature to get him back to re-join his colleagues. It's deja vu all over again. Those of us old enough are reminiscing the painful past and we'd be very silly to allow a repeat of what happened to the Black Stars in the 1980s.They can go to hell if that's their choice destination . Who cares? If they want to play for Ghana it must be on our terms not on theirs. In their Olympique Marseille club team they are not allowed to have their way.Why should they be allowed to have their own way in a national team? Is it because the club is in France, Europe and the national team is in Ghana, Africa? No way !

They cant grant anyone permanent positions in stars selection, it would have set a bad example for the rest. When it comes to the star selection, no one is a sacred cow that you cant kill. The author doesn't seem to understand the lack of transparency and politics of the GFA. If you think ignoring this and simply asking players to humble themselves for an organisation that is perceived as corrupt and riddled with those who refuse to humble themselves in their own conduct then really you are missing the point.
Why don't you ask does the GFA seem to choose to treat players differently based on preference not objectiveness.
Was it ok for them to beg Gyan back when he threw a fit because he messed up and went into retirement. They set precedents and then commentators such as this are then surprised when others follow.
If you see your colleague is "rewarded" for throwing tantrums by your organisation then won't you also follow?
Finally, to question Ayew's maturity is silly. He played for Ghana u20 as captain and he also played in AFCON and WC qualifiers showing commitment and played at AFCON 2012 with a dislocated shoulder, yet the author is asking HIM to humble himself! Ghanaians we have short memories and if we do not start to look at GFA and ask why certain players are included and others who are first team performers (david Addy, Owusu Abeyie) to name a few are sidetracked then we are kidding ourselves.

Joe this is more than an issue of pride. It goes to the lack of transparency and politiking and GFA. When a player has played in previous qualifiers is, and still is, playing 1st team football for a big side in Europe and was at that time player of the month then to not be included even in the squad shows a lack of respect by Appiah and GFA for J Ayew. A Ayew has done so much for Ghana it's a shame the author implies that he lacks respect, reallY? Lack of respect when he has played for his country with a dislocated shoulder and has not swerved matches in his 4-5 years playing for BS.
If you in your job did well, were praised but then you are treated in a way the implies your boss/company doesn't respect you either you leave, stay but question them as why or keep quiet.
I understand 100% where Ayews are coming from because it's not like they are useless players in a rubbish league and have never played well for Ghana. Respect comes from both sides but GFA shows a lack of respect and uses players for GFA'S GAIN not the glory of Ghana football.

The writer of this article appears to be confused. Jordan Ayew never said he will not warm the bench of the Black Stars. He was simply not called. It meant that he did not qualify to be a member of the national team-he could not be part of the 26 invited to the team. But who were called in his place as strikers? Asamoah Djan who plays in a semi-professional league, Emmanuel Clottey who scored only once since he went to Esperence, Boakye Yiadom who could not earn a place in Juventus and had to be loaned out to Division 2 Susuolo. Jordan played almost all the matches in his team, scored 4 goals in November, was adjudged the best player for his team in November. What criteria were used to select all these srtikers over Jordan? Somebody just decided to drop him, for no reason. In any case if he was called into the team in 2012 as a young player, was used occasionally and has now developed, how do you drop him and bring in other younger players? You see, the GFA gamble just backfired. Somebody is getting back at Abedi Pele.As for Dede, I think he was honest enough to admit that he had issues with the Management Committee. I still fail to undetstand why Nyantakyi had to humiliate him in the form of demanding an apology from him after the MALAWI match. Was that the first time we saw a player expressing dissent over his substitution? I don't know which top player has not behaved that way before. Tony Yeboah, Abedi, Oppong Weah, Maradona, even Messi, Ronaldo etc, etc have shown dissent over their substitution. Watch the top leagues in Europe; you will see players kicking chairs, bottles, throwing jersays when substituted. It is just a sign of frustration that they have not lived up to expectation, not necessarily a disrespect for somebody. I don't think the Ayew brothers are demanding special treatment. All they want is that if they merit selection into the team, then they should be, if not leave them be until whoever is in-charge deems it time to call them. But don't humiliate them and their father.

I cannot commend you any better. Indeed these so called players are becoming too pompos because of the monies they are earning.
It is high time they have to be disciplined for their childish and unpatriotic attitudes. I believe that they are not the only people lifting the Ghana flag on the world platform. Majority of Ghanaians in one way or another are doing their part.
What do they want Ghanians to do to them because they are footballers? Do they want us to carry them? or bow and cotow them? or what?
Enough is enough all those who don't want to play should be BANNED FOR LIFE! from the national team. Afterall WHAT!
If President Mahama should one day just hand in a resignation letter, or all Teachers, doctors, Nurses, Truck pushers, Kayooyos, street sellers, fishermers, farmers, football Coaches.....should all retire where will the Nation be?
GFA should leave them to rot in their various clubs, we are sick and tired of them
Ghana will still make it without them. Their skills are just a gift they received which they didn't do anything to earn. Is a free gift of nature so if they think they deserved it, they should think twice else one day they will loose the skills and where will thier ponposity be?
They should read about Paul Gascoin to mellow themselves

Either you have created your own distortions out of the reasons given for Jordan and Dede temporary retirement or you are a hypocrite. Never did jordan stated that he wanted his place assured, he said the fact that the criterion fr selection was regular club play, which he fulfilled but nevertheless was not selected, it meant he was not good enough to play for the national team for now. Thus a solution for that is for him to focus on club football for now and work hard to put himself in better shape so that his call up for national duty would be 'more secured'. Is this difficult to understand.

You must be related to the author of the article. Who told U wakaso had a tangible reason? The foreign clubs have heard unprofessional african players use the fever/malaria reason for years that is why he was fined and sidelined. They go chill at home, have fun and say they had malaria. We never analyze a problem and fined the solution. We are always taking sides and that's why everything is broken in our homeland. AA cannot treat the national team as freh frek kobo. Every coach has his core players and the role players. Once you establish that, you would not have problems. You cannot go from a player not warranting a call up and not being in your plans to all of a sudden the player being in your plans. What was the merit/criteria behind the call up of Clottey, mohammed, derek boateng, etc into the national team? Please Wakaso scored 4 goals (3 through penalties) ofui. Don't turn him into the 2nd coming of Opoku afriyie, Ebo mends, etc.

ghana actually did not do well not because of the exclusion of the ayew brothers but because we dont have the strenght, pace, fitness, stamina and mental toughness to match burkina and mali. we were bullied all along and its time we realized that africa football is very physical and they only player who was exhibiting those characteristics was agyemang badu and after he was worn out the midfield collapsed. we cant win 50-50 balls and neither do any player falls back to defend or put pressure on the opponents defence to hold them back from combining with their midfield. our coach simply did not do his home work well, our fitness level has alwways been a suspect, watch the clips of 1978 and 1982 when we won the african cup and you will realize how tough and strong our players were. nobody was hustling for balls and asamoah gyan was not putting pressure on our opponents defence beacuse he was fatique and a lonely striker. that wack defence of ghana was our main problem and boye should be the only guy in defence that should be recalled. we need a formidable defence strong and stelwart whose presence commands fear on the field look at burkina's defence very tough and resilient, i choke when i hear names like addy, inkoom for recall guys there are guys in the local league who will be up to the task when given the opportunity, and rasheed sumaila deserves a second look. you see it does'nt matter wether you play central or left back in defence, but ones a defender can use both foot effectively and has pace he can play any role in defence effectively. pack our midfield with the likes of badu, rahem ibrahim, yahya mohammed and emmanuel frimpong and lets see who can break down our midfield, our coach is not looking well and let me repeat we were outplayed, outclassed and outmuscled because our strength, pace and stamina is a suspect and have been saying this from day one. blackstars need a complete overhaul with players with strenth, pace and mental toughness. we have to reinvent the kuku dadzie'z, isaac acquayes's isaac paha's awuley quaye's sampson lamptey's, kofi badu's the abbrey's emmanuel quarshie's albert asase's yahya kassum's opoku nti's and we have them in abundant everywhere. our defence is wack a part from boye and its time to make this competitive and give some local defenders a good look and trust me they will prevail. we put too much trust in players abroad whose stamina and physical levels are wack. anyway what is the crime of owusu abeyie, i want coach appiah to answer this question. if you want to recall sulley and kevin prince boateng then recall abeyie too.

As the saying goes, " The fruits from a tree does not fall far from the tree". And just like their father before them, Abedi's boys are arrogant and has a ME first attitude. The Black Stars is not their family's private possession. Their father was the worst captain the Stars ever had. I hope the FA shows some BALLS, and tell them to go play for France. In fact they should never be called back to the fold of the Stars. Just like their father, they are a cancer that should be cut and thrown away. Need I remind you all the troubles that Abedi caused Ghana? He could never live with Tony Yeboah scoring all those wonderful goals. Tell Andre and Dede to stay in France and forget about the Black Stars. I am sure they want their father as the coach, and Andre as the captain.Stay strong FA, and call their selfish bluff.

I respect your right to have an opinion BUT this is no doubt a "baby opinion" to use your own opinion. Your argument is so one sided it's not even funny. First you nit-picked Jordan's excuse for retirement. He said "his current form obviously does not impress the trainers so he wanted to take time off to train harder in order to insure he more secured place on the team" That is not the same as saying he wanted guaranteed place all the time. Look coaches have to right to select who they wanted when they wanted. A player too has the right, and in fact a professional player, has to work hard to ensure he fits into a coaches play. That's all the boys asked for. Of course, we all know that be-clouds real and existing problems with management. As for your points on DEDE I don't even wanna waste my time. Where is the ego here when somebody acknowledges existing problems which will not permit him to cooperate with another person. You give him credit, not berate him. The GFA and the coach were the first to wash their dirty linen in public, and the Ayews are following suit. Balance your argument

What esle can I add to what you have touched on. My problem is most of our football players are not well educated and it is beginning to show. They also lack the mental to see beyond themselves. Kwesi Appiah deserves credit since most of the folks he had lack the moral understanding or the magnitude of the game. He has learn't his lesson and I believe he will definately be making some changes as the team moves forward.

Sir, most soccer players, the good ones are sensitive, by nature. Using U.S.A. as an example, the coach was imported from his Germany's vast world experience. These present players are more modernized and could, quickly sense any archaic types of, tactics which a coach like Appiah might implement. Without their imputs, frustration arises. These are the scenes, that are present in Ghana's squad and are interpreted as "dissents", and therefore, local and unseasoned, players are the good replacements. The fact is, Mr. Appiah is too green, for higher international Games. He still can assists, but not, as the "higher man" in charge.

Much as I wouldn't like to respond to shallow minds like the writer of this article I deem it a duty of the highest order to remind other readers of this article that the Ayew brothers are not slaves to ghana soccer fans. They are professionals who deserve the respect that any Ghanaian would ask for in a situation such as where they find themselves now. If they were not good enough for the AFCON tournament after they have helped in the qualification series why would their demands to be exempted this time around be a big deal. Do we want them to help in another qualification series only to be dropped under questionable circumstances come the bid dance in Brazil? It is only the stupid person who doesn't learn from history. What is the guarantee that history will not repeat itself. Please remember that you can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different results. Some things have to change. I support their and anybody else's decision to not play for Ghana anymore until the rot and stench at the GFA is cleaned up. You can hate them all want.

RE- JORDAN AND DEDE: IT TAKES MORE THAN BIG NAMES.
jamanfo@jefam-ghana.com
I object totally to my brother Keneth Nii Yeboah on his observation, criticism and submission on the Ayew brothers.
Excuse me to say we all are living on the African soil; and you know what I mean. Selfishness, self-centeredness and egocentrics are part of our blood. We cannot do without these cankers even though we try to campaign for a society of incorruptible moral standards.
The decision taken by the Ayew brothers for me and others is laudable, taken into consideration the circumstances surrounding the national soccer team- the black stars and the management team.
There is no gainsaying the fact that, there is no small amount of issues going on within the management of the Ghana Football Association and the Management Team of the national soccer team.
Let me ask you these questions:
1. Where is Kevin Prince Boating?
2. Where is Michael Essien
3. Where is Sulley Muntari?
4. Where is Quinsy Beyie?
5. Where is Hans Adu Sarpei?
Now tell me where these human resources are and what necessitated their leaving? Look my brother; the human heart is so delicate that, even you Kenneth would explode if you continue to admit without emitting. I want you to agree to the fact that, they are emitting in order not to explode.
The decision these boys took is not childish or unprofessional in any way as you see it. They are just telling what whatever materials beneath the iceberg who you and I don’t know but only they (the Ayew brothers) that they are human beings with same blood as all other human beings and should be treated as such without any prejudices when it comes to matters of national decision making as to who is the true hero and who has a big name. For me, these boys are true heroes not only the big name they carry.
You said big names don’t play football, I take exception to that assessing because you, as well as every good soccer analyst out there would bear with me that, if all the big names above were included in the just ended 23 man squad of the national team the black stars, we would have been second if not won the cup.
You talked of in- humility exhibited by the boys. You know that everybody have some traits of tempo in them; and it comes out in various forms depending on the human being in question. Some releases it by creating tension and panic, others let it out by using their tongue while others just take up arms and go to the streets.
Amidst all these, the person always feels some little remorse after their actions and feels otherwise.
All that I am trying to say is that, you would be too harsh on the boys if you want to believe that, they don’t have humility in them. How many apologies hasn’t Dede done to one person or the other as far as his career is concerned?
Please let them be, because you did not train or nurture them to become who they are. Even those who trained and nurtured them to this level have some limitations when it comes to matters of the personality of the person.
Please Mr. Man, be guided accordingly.
Joseph Amanfo,
Nsawam.

kenneth to be honest i think ur points are very poor , for the first place if u pick up players who were brought up as european civilians and want them to behave like patriotics then its impossible . Everybodys talkin bout cantona and the ivoirians .Ours is totally different, our players need experience to play international matches so why take out the experience and replace them with non experience players ,the ivoirians have too much big players thats why they couldnt make it .You can never compare cantona's trouble with ours because when cantona was left out the frenchs had Zidane ,Henry, and more quality players ,Leaving the Ayews and kp thats why we ve never gained the trophy .We re not far from winning the trophy but this is where we need the experience ones and not some second division players if that was the case should ve selected local players playing our local league because its a riff raff to choose a second division player to our locals meaning the second divisions teams are better than our locals. Messi is not treated as a simple player in barcelona and so as in his national team that goes to ronaldo zidane and all big players who have helped their contry win trophies. You people are using too much illiterate styles ,if we really want to win something we have to call all retired players .They gave gyan the respects he need why not give Ayew and Kp Muntari the respects they need .The coach has to go it was nice and proud having a local coach but if it was for him to act so then he can go . He has no skills how can brazilians of africa play a dfensive game whiles since the day we put our feet to fields we want to dribble everybody .We need a coach that understands our skills and make something better out of it than to play like teams that are scared to play.If u want lift the name of ghana high stop destroying ya owns .Raising ya sons and daughters high will let u raise ur name high advice to those spitting on ur owns God bLess my beloved GHANA

This two brothers are guality players, but what they should know is that no child ever jumps from the floor and start walking without first crawling. They have to withdraw their resignation letters with apology to all ghanaians, the ghana football authority, the black stars and the last but not the least to their father, Io did mention their father because I am pressuming that he knew nothing about the decision taken by his two sons, it's a shame and a disgrace to the father who command a whole of respect among ghanaians, they have let their father down. Should they fail to apologize they should be left alone for when one door closess another opens, there equally good quality players out there knocking on the doors of the Black stars, hey send scouts out to get these dedicated plyers to come and justify their inclusin and play for the natinal team. I wish the Black stars the best of luck in their pending assignments, before I sign off, I'll edge the ghana football authority or whoever is responsible to as a matter of urgency to send Kwwesi Apppiah to get some refresher courses out side. Nobody is perfect, we all learn to know.

kkk u re a fool to say this is a stupid article cs this is a very wise piece of writing except of course u dont get the construction of sentences well probably cos of ur educational background. We cant worship players cos they re full of themselves. let me tell once again that big names dont win cups. even in 1992 when their father was the captain we had so many quality players but yet we didnt win not to talk of babies who wants to run before they cwawl. they need to grow up cos no team would call a player and give a permanent position to a player thats why the germans those days would say they would beat a team from the bench. been on the bench doesnt mean one is not good but it might be a coach strategy. When davor suker won the highest goal scorer in 1998 world cup he never played a full game but always came in as a sucstutute. am sure u re ayews age thats why u reason that way. grow up bro and get some education

'You can't eat your cake and have it'. It's this same Dede Ayew who denied Laryea Kinston the opportunity to play in the 2010 World Cup,took No. 10 Jersey away from Kwadwo Asamoah, creating confusion, indiscipline, arrogance in camp was their( the Ayews) trademark. Thank God their guilty conscience are punishing them now. Their father put up same attitude and Ghana couldn't win any trophy despite the great players Black Stars had that time. He is not ASHAME of himself introducing his boys into the team to continue his confusion works. Give way for others to show their real talents not the TAKASHIE BALL that you play. Long life Black Stars.

I love their father which i will always adore him,i remember in 1992 when he was in marseille, number one he wasn't that fit, number two he played a game on saturday for his club and a plane was waiting at the tarmac which brought him and Tony baffour to accra on sunday morning, though he managed to play only the first half,he was the guy who would had put his head there if i am right,so that is patriotism.I wonder if these ayew brothers are learning from their dad or doing their own things,Ziggy marley is a musician but he can never be like his dad[Bob marley]My advise to them is especially Jordan you are only a little over twenty and have a lot ahead of you and been previliged to play for your nation[GHANAMAN]there are others waiting and praying to be called up one day not only Ghana but other nations. If a coach dosen't call you up for any reason train hard and do well and prove him wrong because what you do on pitch is what matters. So please i am not here to condemn you because everyone have the right to express their opinions but just swallow your pride, forget about money and things, look at your dad's track record, look at how Germans open their hearts to play for their country,i want your dad's name to stand up high all the time including yours,so please be previliged and open your hearts for the sake of mother,i don't think you purposely play for Ghana for sake of money. But please if you change your mind do accept anything the coaches throw at you because we Ghanaians are watching and you will be rewarded maybe not monetary but your dad's name and yours will stick with us forever and that's what is important. Thanks boys.

So funny an article, the purpose for which you wrote this article is defeated. if you are not privileged to the other side of the story, why do you then put on your bias ignorance right here on this plat form. From the very beginning of your piece it was crystal clear you have taken size, so never try to fool any one right here with your garbage.Unless you dont follow ghanaian foot ball or you chose to be myopic. So you alone out of the million ghanaians have not seen anything wrong with the GFA and can't at least say anything about their conduct. Its a shame. NOW TAKE IT FROM ME " THE AYEW BROTHERS ARE VERY GOOD PLAYERS AND ARE NEEDED IN THE BLACK STARS,ITS IMPORTANT FOR REASONABLE PEOPLE WITHOUT YOU TO TAKE AN INITIATIVE TO DIALOGUE IN ORDER TO GET THE PROBLEMS SOLVED.This is not the first of its kind and how long can we be loosing players of their caliber.Certainly you spoke of team work and spirit, so if you are treated in a way that suggest to you, you are not needed in a team what do you do. Wise up and clear your staged brains. It so sad you couldn't mention even just one of the coach's move that suggested he was incompetent during the AFCON .A clear example was when Painstil was injured he brought in an attacker, Asante, the"short player" just to describe him. You didnt even see this and cant comment on it. SHAME ON YOU.

I think everyone should be given the rights to their opinion with no insults whatever. The narrative missing hear is why were the Ayews dropped? And also the size and height of a player does not reflect on ones ability to perform. Opoku Afriyie was about the same size and height of Asante and both were fast on their feet. So please ease up on the insults. Disciplined players play as a team with one thing in mind to win. What if the remaining players also claimed to voice their opinions we would not have a team. Players need to believe in their coach regardless remembering that this coach is only dealing with them just for a short spell and so and if they were recruited to play under paid contract for Ghana (just as they do for their respective teams) will they act or behave in such a manner. You know what will happen right. Ask Muntari. He had to learn the hard way. I believe he is a changed man at AC Milan. As read consider all these before you respond.

Its important to note that coaching goes beyond just telling the players what to do on the field but managing the player in all aspects of his life,Psychologically.
