In my grandfather's palace he has to deal with an issue similar like this when one call the other " come on" and when my grandfather wanted to know the insult in the word "come on" he asked what is the mean of "come on" Kwesi said "come on" means "aboa" he break it down for him to understand. He asked what is the meaning come he perfectly understand the meaning of come but when you add the "on" to the come that is the problem. Ed has a similar problem nonsense is not an insult.
