THE MINISTER:
The leader of the contingent, I mean, the one in whose capacity the country- Ghana was represented, was none other person than Hon.Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a.k.a.the Minister of Sports.
The Honourable Minister who had gotten himself entangled with the lure of quick kick-backs, albeit the joggle of monies that he erroneously thought could not be accountable for once expended, dealing with a large retinue of crazy supporters and soccer enthusiasts.e.g. party faithfuls, the proverbial non-football ambassadors with and without portfolios, children, concubines of doubtful identities and whatchugot? had thought it wise to be the Tour agent himself.
Prior to the build up of the Brazil WC operations,he had woefully usurped the workings of the African Origin and Tours. Thus have had to make several trips back and forth with the shoddy arrangements for illicit dollar returns.
Haphazard arrangements for boarding and lodging, inconclusive flights between hotels and the various stadia and collective poor feeding times got the better part of the Hon's itineraries.
At the end of the day, the purpose for which these personalities were sent to Brazil was defeated since some spent nights and days at the airport/watching the game on TV or looking elsewhere for Brazilian tit-bits.
That was the most reason, why the Honourable Minister's job got curtailed before he could say, Amen.
I would have resigned tho.
Otherwise, for his part: he had brought MotherGhana into disrepute. In an aptitude dishonour, deliberate usurpation of Powers, economic downtrend, leading to public ridicule and messy upheaval. As a result, this Honourable man of a Minister must be prosecuted, made to pay a fine, jailed
or banned from politics.
THE CHAIRMAN:
The GFA chairman is equally guilty for his part: Unable to contain "the football people" i.e. The tech crew, the cheap scouters, shoddy and lousy flight arrangements for the entire crew, poor video analysts, stagnant team physicians, over invoicing/under invoicing. About outrageous budgetary concerns, gross insubordination and public show of arrogance.
Using FIFA as a black shield, level headedness, favoritism, apathy and nepotism goes without saying that, the chairman has lost it. He no longer be what he used to be.
Must therefore resign or be forced to.
EXECUTIVE CHAIRPERSON:
There is no gainsaying that Mr. AN lacks the requisite, the pedigree of acute office practice and unhealthy management of a ball club.
If a classroom teacher can handle an average of 40 or more students at a time for a whole academic year, one wonder why a whole lawyer couldn't handle 23 players at a camp for barely one month.
As it turned out, AN wasn't able to control these players when they had agitated for a cash pay out that was not available to them. He couldn't talk them into believing in him as the executive chairman of the management team.
Boys had revolted under his watch over an appearance money, making it impossible for an ensuing match to begin hence the resultant gruesome exit from the group stage.
Under his watchful eye, he had witnessed a fight broke up. Bottles and chairs flew over heads in a terror fashion that rendered Mr AN as a mere 'simpapanin'.
He could only bark but couldn't bite.
One would have thought he was going to order the boys to reimburse all but some of the $100 booty collected for no work done.
Apparently, he couldn't have done that cuz he, AN himself, his cohorts, had taken a lion share of the money.
Were we told that AN was 'bustered' for an undercover stint over an alleged match fixing jump?
Why was he in a hurry to upgrade DR Appiah's contract? Was there a clandestine activity night before the morning? I swear bad.
THE COACH:
The DRAA Law was my affectionate accolade for him. Having watched him with my eagle eyes the last twenty years or so. I thought, 20years was so long to have brought the best in a person/coach. But I was wrong.
In that, I was emotionally disturbed, heart broken, when I watched AA mercifully placed beautiful Ghana into the palm of the USA.
His player selection that day was horrible only a rookie coach could have done that. His subs too elementary. His personal demeanor was zero. Was so rigid on the sideline I had wanted to knock him down if I had the chance.
The conclusion here fore is, if he is given another shot at the job, he is going to do same. The bottom line is that, even though he may appear to be good, I strongly believe that his quiet demeanor is quite deceptive consistent with a slow learner one seldom see in many a good coach.
DR AA's should be denied his contract extension that was nocturnally outstretched by that cantankerous Nyantakyi of old.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE:
The president is seen here to be one whose compassion for soccer so far, is unequaled by any. Not that I know of.
How and why? In the soothing words of one Coach Opeele Adade Boateng, "Prez Mahama is a listening president".
When Nyantakyi couldn't use his good offices in prying for the quick release of the player's appearance money before embarking the Brazilian trip, SOS was sent to him by his minister of sports about 'His Own' recalcitrant players.
A truckload, OOPS! a planeload of hard Benjamin currency was flown down to avert a possible insurrection by Muntari's mutiny of men.
A president had displayed a complete foolhardiness here by not 'thinking fast', not realizing the public scorn he stood the chance to embrace. The president condescending so low in his thinking faculty obliging the pressure bestowed on him by the orchestrated trio of his trusted minister, GFA chairman and the playing body. He had therefore goofed up squandering some 5 million Benjamins at the expense of the tax player.
This I thought was quite detrimental, economic sabotage of the scarcity of the teaming public coffers.
To this end, Prez Mahama, in concert with Afriyie Ankrah, Akwasi Nyantakyi and Akwasi Appiah must be held responsible for the Brazilian mess.
The impending Presidential Commission which God knows when it would be inaugurated, must bring all of the them to book.
Did I hear you say Mahama must be impeached?

In my view, the Ghana Football Association must resign their post one by one. They take for granted the government willingness to pour money on them without much results. The players revolt is a clear sign that something is wrong with the management team, therefore, they must resign. In order to find a solution to the current problem, which has been around for some time now, it is very clear that the GFA management is not doing their work as they are supposed to. They do not take their responsibility seriously. They are only there for the their salaries, and corruption. They are more corrupt than some police officers in Ghana. It is will be in the interest of Ghana to remove Kwesi Nyantekyie immediately. There is no way you can say that with this kind of attitude the GFA has at the moment, the cannot continue with the sport program of Ghana. We need to bring in fresh people to manage the Ghana Football Association for the sake of the public. After all, sports, I mean all sport promotes national development. Mr. Nyantekyie took the government for granted and has no respect for the Ghana Black Stars players as professionals. In addition, the Ghana government must also invest more money in to the sports activities in order for adequate development to take place. In itself, sports activities is a sign that the country is developing and moving forward. The present Ghana Football Association is full of families, friends of Kwesi Nyantekyei, whether they can do the job or not they are there for the sake of what they get. Mr. Kwabena Yeboah stop promoting something that is not. Focus your attention to your work. This is my point.

What success is yeboah talking?...we have not won cup of nations since 82; the local league is weak therefore our teams dont go far in club championships. kotoko, our biggest club and twice africa champions, was last year eliminated by a team from liberia in the preliminary round; the stadiums are empty during league matches to the extent that people prefer watching european leagues on weekends to local leagues, in the 70s, local league matches, especially games played at accra sports stadium, were shown live on tv;..in this modern soccer world,we still use manual numbers on our substitution boards instead of digital boards...
the man has no clue as to what to do...he is so obsessed with the black stars that he has left other areas of football development unattended...to improve the local league, all players MUST be made to play in the local league for at least two years before they are transferred to europe or elsewhere...the exodus of players is such that the local league is denied of quality players to make the league attractive to fans and competitive to go far in club championships...so much to talk about!
and so for kwabena yeboah, who i used to respect, to come out to say that nyantakyi has achieved 'tremendous success' in ghana football is mystifying.

I will like to know if people are paid to undertake dirty politics? why is K Yeboah asking the GFA to stay after such international humiliation? We must have the conscience and wisdom to quit if we fail because there will always be someone better to step in the shoes of the present GFA guy, he must go flying first class with his familt whilst players were in the economy class? As the chairman of the National team who led the team and the management to Brazil, he must be held accountable for the poor and shameful performance of a team most Africans had high expectation for. Besides outcome he is not ...
