One person conniving with one party, for their selfish ego, stole the nations money worth GH50 million and justice couldn't prevail, the current government illegally smuggled Ghana's gold worth 80 million dollars and later said it wasn't a real gold,nothing was done, and the most annoying part, the president's younger brother took a loan from a Ghanaian bank to buy a private plane without paying back leading to the collapse of our local industries and the economy and nothing was done....... A farmer stole a fertilizer for his cocoa, and he has been jailed? The government should come out and tell us how much profit they earn from these farmers product and lets compare if they are not rather the once stolen from them. So the judges didn't have any better alternative way of punishing the farmer than sentencing him? the output of this farmer only is gonna decrease and cos the total turnout of cocoa this year. its very pity, if Mother Ghana boast herself that agriculture is the backbone of our economy.

This is absurd. Sentencing guidelines must be reviewed otherwise the poor will always face injustice. This is too hash for a poor man who stole bags that have no value.
