Even some people are allergic to non-GM foods. Does that mean that nobody else should eat them? The world is a choicy one. Decide to eat or use them or not.

the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

This will create massive unemployment and make the greedy few richer. It will also put our lives at risk here in Africa. What is good for them is not always good for us. Give the lands back to the to locals to do their farming. Government must rather help the farmers to increase yields but not to kotow to that rubbish GM rich peoples project.

As to how this NDC gov't led by John Mahama would allow Ghanaians to be used first as guinea pigs in our own country is unfathomable. Secondly, to again allow our food and nutrition requirements to be held in a vise grip and control by foreign interests, subject to their whims and caprices is inconceivable.
Thirdly to think that, the adoption of these GMo's is a panacea to our food security issues by the Mahama gov't is unpardonable, especially when Ghana uses just about less than 3-4% of it's arable land and farming activities are basically subsistent in nature, with no irrigation facilities, mechanized agriculture is non existent, no storage facilities, no value addition facilities, etc, etc.
To think that the NDC gov't would seek to even consider this GM foods, brings into question, what actually influences the thought processes of the gov't? It's amazing!!!.

GM food is nothing new in ghana. Where does she think the seeds of the rice comes from. It was in the time of your father ghana started eating GM food.
In the time of her father he made ghanaians call GM agric. Agric seeds we give to all farmer free of charge to increase food production. In ghana today you cant find original tomatoes anywhere, the groundnut are all agric (GM).
GM crops dont kill. If GM food is to kill all ghanaians would have been dead by now.
Why is she even talking about GM when she doesnt know what GM means.
GM is like a political parties elections where you chose the best.
I dont think the bitch has ever been to a farm. In a farm sometimes you sow seeds at the same time and some mature early than the other. A good farmer harvest the saperately and decides which one he will sow the next season. Finally on the farm will be modified with only one type of seed.
GM seeds are seeds selected and studied. GM seeds are studied to know how low they can reduce the water intake for a dry place like ghana.
