Clearly it seems that the spokesperson for Alan Cash's Movement for Change, Luther-King, is not a politically street-wise person, nor is he savvy to the devious wiles of political propaganda.
By naively counter-accusing the NPP of moneycracy, he has, to the disadvantage of the Movement for Change, tacitly fallen for the obviously untrue claim that 6000 NPP defectors have returned to the NPP camp. In the face of the most terrible economic conditions that this country has ever known, even the most ignorant and fanatical NPP followers, would find their Party's statement in regard to the return of the defectors, very hard to swallow.
In politics, the reaction to such a statement would be to dismiss it in its entirety and then make further counter-claims about the growing numbers of additional defectors from the NPP to the M4C camp. And of course, the M4C will have to induce or entice - in one way or another, the many hundreds and thousands of NPP footsoldiers who cannot all be appeased with the criminal boots of their party.
Again, in politics, it is only losers who accuse others of using "money" to lure members. The truth is that, all parties do entice voters with money.
In the Western multi-party "democracy" environment, truth is a rare commodity. What we are left with in that space is not the good and the bad or, right and wrong, but only propaganda.
