I'm the first to post a comment on this nagging issue but so be it. Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu has made the right call and I'm expecting patriotic ghanaians to join hands with him regardless of political affiliation to put to rest this canker called tribalism which has bedeviled our politics and policies. It's gradually and steadily becoming an NDC staple but it's quite obvious to the discerning mind that it has also become the modus operandi of political desperados who're hollow and lack substance but are also bent on gaining political power by any means possible.
Most politicians exploit the base instincts of the people but NDC politicians have found it a very rewarding strategy. President Mahama during the presidential election campaign told a group of northerners that it was time for one of their own to become president. That was a full octave below low key coming from a sitting president. We the people should beware and shun leaders who bang the drums of tribalism and sectionalism in order to whip the citizenry into a fervor because they're only self seeking. Tribalism and sectionalism can destroy our national cohesion and aspirations and we should stay away as far as possible from such selfish and ruthless politicians.Pitting one side of the country against the other is a crime against humanity .
