Their corrupt means of livelihood is going to end and that is their worry. He is therefore trying to use some means of diffusing the beautiful picture from the minds of admiring Northerners. In any case, Prof Mills insulted Volta chiefs of not being objective for criticizing his leadership while Mahama himself insulted us as thinking foolishly for suggesting alternatives for spending Ghana oil revenue. Similarly, he stood at the door step of a prominent paramount chief and teased his town as galamsey headquarters which his own government initiated. In all these instances, these corrupt leaders never apologized of their irresponsibility. However, the truth really is that, Northerners are major beneficiaries of free education in this country. No one can deny that. Pee Yalley must be suffering from some disorder.

Why are we not changing the strategy. Can we as a country rotate this regional based scholarship scheme which only favours one Region. Why can't it be given to people from the Western Region. I guess it is not taken seriously by the beneficiaries. Again those beneficiaries should reinvest in their Region to showcase to the Youth there the importance of education rather than pitting up mansions in Accra and Kumasi.

Also what was wrong for referring to the fatc that Free education has helped other people to lime light? Crime? I think he does not know what he wants. He is only fuelling tribal sentiments which somne of our leaders know and believe in because majority of Ghanaians do not follow policies and principles, they do not cinsider their living standards but only follow tribe ethnicity and religion as their benchmark for election. Instead of being honestly grateful and show appreciation to the southerners, especially the Ashante/Brong/Ahafo/Akyem cocoa farmers whose enormous contribution to the national scholarship scheme northern brothers and sisters gained hugely in their education and social economic support, we rather have these bigotry northern criminally corrupt Accra base greedy SADA akomfem politicians pathetically feeding their own northern people with falsehood to keep them in the dark and manipulating them for their private selfish gains.

John Mahama cuts a very poor picture of a President to rule Ghana from the North, judging from the fact that, there is an overabundance of far, far, astute, competent, intelligent, incorruptible, honest, dedicated, and visionary Northerners, who have achieved far higher laurels in their various professional lives and endeavours, both internationally and locally, who even within the NDC party, would have done a far, far, far better job than John Mahama. Our brothers and sisters from the North know it, John Mahama himself knows it, and his statement that he's the luckiest President, if it is anything to go by, sums up this observation. John Mahama should apologize for not leaving up to expectation as the first gentleman of the land, which effects, are being felt across the length and breadth of the country in the form of an economy in the doldrums, the cedi depreciating and heading for the bottomless pit, lack of utilities-water and electricity, etc, etc. Clearly, Sam Yalley would not want our proud, knowledgeable and intelligent brothers and sisters from the North, to believe that, from the vast array of talents and intelligence, this is what their own, could provide for the socio-economic growth and development of the country.
The subtle attempt at ethnic bigotry and tribalism, where competence has been relegated to the background in choosing our leaders, is why, the country, from every nook and cranny, is going through self-inflicted challenges, experienced by all and sundry.

Secondly, what is not true in the statement according to mr. Yally the NPP people made against the President and his people that they need to apologize? In the 50s when we were in Secondary Schools with their fathers they boycotted dining hall foods if they are not given free beer at dinners. Their reasons being that at home they drank "Pitoo" at dinner. And if they are away from home they wanted the school authorities to supply them with beer. They were treated like brats. Ask Mr. Pee Wee Yalley if anyone from the North ever apologize to the Southern Students for not given the same privileges the Southern students were denied? To mr. Yalley, "it is better than never". Now that the glove is on the hand of a Northerner may I know if beer is still being given to the students from the North? If not,Why?
