AA SHOULD SIT DOWN WITH HIS TECH PPL AND WATCH ALL 3 OF CAPE VERDE'S GAMES IN THIS TOURNEY. ESP, THE CAPEVERDE VS ANGOLA GAME.
THEY CAN USE THAT TO PREPARE ADEQUATELY FOR THE CAPEVERDEANS....
KASA, BADU, ATSU MUST ALL BE ABLE TO TAKE FREE KICKS AND CORNER KICKS.
aa, wat is the point of keeping your MVP PLAYERS LIKE BADU, VORSAH, KASA, GYAN STILL IN THIS GAME? ARE U CRAZY...?
SUB THEM. U ARE 3 NIL UP. GIVE THEM TIME TO REST FOR THE NEXT GAME AHEAD. NIPA Y3 BAD. YOUR OPPONENTS MAY WANT TO INJURE YOUR BEST
PLAYERS.
WE NEED THE PLAYERS TO BE MORE DISCIPLINED IN THEIR PLAY AND TACKLES. LESS FOUL$, MORE SHOT$ ON GOAL.
TIGHTEN UP THE DEFENCE....TIGHTEN UP THE DEFENCE.....TIGHTEN UP THE DEFENCE.....
STRIKERS/attackers win you a match, DEFENDERS win you a tournament.

POW, our team was serious during the first 70 minutes of the match. After that, they began to relax. Appiah needs to talk to them and I understand that there are 11 new players among the old ones therefore, the combination will that some time before it could click well. On the other hand, can't they be a little serious when the team is leading by 2 goals? Asamoag Gyan had these two clean balls and couldn't score. His first goal was a classic goal though.
We need then to be serious. The defense as well couldn't continue with the focus they started with. The midfield also broke down and was given out possessions to the opponent.
When we have a team under our armpit, I don't think we should release that team to be even a little bit free. If Niger was as strong as Mali, could have came back to beat us yesterday. John Paintsil, for example was playing with the ball on one point. His passes through the ground to the link man in the midfield was changed to high and long range balls whilst he knew most of our players are short compared to the opponents. They need to be focused for every game is not over if the last whistle is heard.
The match against Cape Verde, I suggest Adam Kwarasey should be given the opportunity to use that to gain his confidence back. Albert Adormah should give way to Solomon Asante. This will help Adormah to rest for the semi-final match against which team will lead from Group "C". Wakaso should once again sit for this same semi-final match. It will also help Wakaso to recuperate well and as well will help Atsu to gain more playing time and more confidence toward the semi-final match. Agyeman Badu should take a rest in the quarters to avoid another yellow card because he got one yesterday. He would be needed in the semis and the finals. In his place, Derrick Boateng could be allowed to play most of the minutes in the quarters. Continue should be out to for Anthony Annan to take his place. This will give Annan the testing ground to evaluate his injury whether he is healed on not. It will, in a way, hand Rabiu Mohamend the green light to rest though he has the stamina play the quarters.
Remember, we have Burkina Faso or Nigeria or Zambia to deal with in this year's semi-final encounter. These 3 nations have good midfielders; and therefore, we will need our best midfielders to face theirs like we did against Mali.
I wish Kissi Boateng could get the opportunity to play at the right full-back position in this quarter-final match. Moreover, Awal Mohammed and Jonathan Mensah must take their place at the hearts of the defense in this quarters. In other words, rest John Boyer and Isaac Vorsah to avoid injury heading towards the real encounter. These changes could give us the options on whom to be used during the semi-finals. If these players perform well, the idea of going into the semi finals with a solid 11 good players at the bench will help.
Is Boayke Yiadom not healed yet? If he is, the team could play 4-4-2 formation against Cape Verde with Clottey and Yiadom as the two upfront.
Selection:
1. Adam Kwarasey
2. Kissi Boateng
3. Harrison Afful
4. Awal Mohammed
5. Jonathan Mensah
6. Anthony Annan
7. Solomon Asante
8. Derrick Boateng
9. Emmanuel Clottey
10. Boakye Yiadom
11. Christian Atsu
Here is my impute.

I don't think the boys relaxed against Niger after 70 minutes as many of you put it.. What you need to do is to reduce the pedal slightly and save limbs for the knock out stages. Now looking at the opposition, body language and soccer style that Niger offered around that time Ghan was in full control of the game.. In fact, Niger was overwhelmed by the 3-0 lead and had nearly given up hope so why should the boys over exert themselves. There is something called conservative soccer and that is what our boys did... Soccer is full of scinetific thougts and tricks these days oo?.

In Afcon 2010 the best striker of Egypt came off the bench to finish us. In Afcon 2012 the best striker of Zambia came off the bench to finish us. It's about timing, function and who does what BEST. Do not let seniority factor selection but 101% functionality: by interchanging Rabiu and D. Boateng you have brought the best in both of them and exposed their weaknesses. Do the same to the others GRADUALLY and you will raise standards and BUILD A FORMIDABLE TEAM.

Congratulations once more to Coach Kwasi Appiah, Maxwell Konadu and the entire techical team. We still have to perfect our passes, esp. in the build up to creating goals from the mid-field to the opponent's goal area.
Our team's cohesion needs to be worked out well; the fluid kind of play still needs to be perfected, not for the beauty or exhibition purpose, but the kind of perfection that will allow us to make or create possitive goal-scoring opportunities.
Let's assume that by fate or ill-luck, our opponent scores 2 goals just as Tunisia did in our friendly. We have to be able to maintain our confidence and possess the ball to create the needed goals and cancel the lead by our opponent. It is a delight to watch Ghana play under the tutelage of Coach Kwasi Appiah and that's why I say congratulations! "Ayekoo, Paa Kwasi" "Mayele!"
Let your imaginations soar, because the sky is the limit. As the man has just said, the Black Stars are yet to shine. The kind of scientific football that we're looking for will soon be on display. I also think our jid-field needs some tightenning, esp. when that area is the engine room of our team. So far, our stars are making us proud.
And lastly, our defenders should try to blend well with the rest of the halves on the field. The backline should be vigilant not to allow balls to cross easily in front of them. We must be alert and neutralise every counter-attack. We'll be okay when we try to polish our game up a bit and eschew complacency.
Keep the winning spirit alive and lift high the flag of Ghana, glorious Black Stars. Your brothers and sisters are solidly behind you in spirt and prayers as you press for victory for mother Ghana. May the Might God bless you. Greetings from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada to you all.
