Who said Dede was not among the Black Stars squad? The dude refused to report to camp 2 days after the deadline. If Dede was allowed to set his own rules for the Black Stars, what kind precedence would the coach be setting for the rest of the squad? Was Dede not in the last world cup and AFCON squad? Why did he not bring the cup home? And was Jordan not in the last AFCON team? How many goals did he score? And what cup did your so called legend Abedi Pele bring home for Ghana? If you want to talk about legends, talk about Baba Yara, Osei Kofi and Abdul Razak, not Abedi Pele. The foolish tribal sentiments will take you fools nowhere.

Mr Takyi Arhin noted that “currently, beside his position as GFA President, Mr. Nyantakyi is a CAF Executive member, Chairman of GFA executive committee, a member of the Black Stars Management Committee and a member of West Africa Football Union (WAFU)”.
As a football administrator, Mr. Arhen should have known the the president of the GFA is supposed to be the GFA executive. This is something not new in the football world. Therefore, his point is not valid.
Secondly, as a CAF executive member, since Nyantakyi is not the overseer of this committee, it is just a post given to him. Most of the work in this area is done by the secretary of the committee and the Chairman of the committee. A meeting schedule is usually set for this committee where all the executive members are notified. They go in and sit and discuss what needs to be done to help CAF move forward. With his post with CAF as an executive member, there is no any team or long paper submissions. All they need is his voice, opinion and advise and nothing else. Therefore, what makes this work hectic?
Does this man know how many offices Dr. Mensah Otabil holds? Come on, leave the man alone to do his job. I can sense jealousy in here.
"a member of the Black Stars Management Committee and a member of West Africa Football Union (WAFU)"
For both posts, the man just sits in to share his ideas and nothing more. He is not given an assignment to be done with a date bound to it. Therefore, how do you classify that as something that is stopping the man to do his work?
Since he took over, how many WC tournaments have we participated in? How many times have we been to the semi-finals in the AFCON biannual tournaments? How many trophies have our junior national teams brought to our possession? I suggest you take these facts and compare to the previous GFA Chairmans and see which of them among has done a better job.
All we do is to complain and forget about the achievements.
Mr. Kwadwo Takyi-Arhin, a football administrator, what has he done to bring proper football administration to the country? I was here with Sly Tetteh and just the bachelor's degree he had in football Administration from Lynchburg, Virginia, he was able to convert that knowledge into many football academies in the continent. He was able to build players for the national teams from youth to the Black Stars. He was able to develop a lower club he bought into a professional level. Sly was able to build the retired players confidence and unity which now is benefiting them even though Sly Tetteh is gone. This is what the country needs from football administrators like this man, Mr. Takyi-Arhin, and not what he is doing. Develop but don't dismantle.

Nyantakyi has found someone who will help him castigate Abedi out of the seen and that one is Akwesi Appiah. How on earth could Akwesi Appiah take Dede &Jordan Ayew out of the squared,i mean how, what came into his mind when he was doing that.Dede Ayew lead U20 to take the world cup and was magnificant at the senior world cup in South Africa 2010 he was also brilliant at Gabon& Gunia2012 has always honoured his call so what was that, was it Nyantakyis hand writting torwards Abedi or what?.Ghana football does not and will never be he Nyantakyis propparty.Akwesi Appiah was the same person who colid with Tony Yeboah to make coup in Senegal 92 against Abedi. Before this tournament there was an article of which the writer brought to our notice that they are planing to teach he Abedi a lesson and its came out that both his children were kicked out of the squared,is that what they term as football then we have problem a very big one.Nyantakyi is afraid of the sanitation which could have come with in Ghana football that was why he block Macell Desily becoming national trainer.Akwesi Appiah is an hypocraite. So all what am calling for is to kick them both.Fifa will try something silly but we have to clean the GFA for us to get something better look at Nigeria they Kick Siassia and bring Kesche and also the administrators to pave way for the game to be well organize.Ghana need that sanitation badly.

Get your fact right GFA is not pastordom where you pastors want to have the total power, you have towel Jesus wisdom to the dogs. r. Mensah Otabil is the founder of his church and he has every right to hold as many positions as he see fit, he want to protect his investment. How many positions did Jesus hold as the founder of the church. Please do not bring church issues here GFA is not a theocracy. This is your problem everything has to do with what you believe in. Jesus Himself said this "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other". So what is your beef with Kwadwo Takyi-Arhin? You mentioned Sly Tetteh he was working within the private sector and unknown to you his uncle had pave the way for him. How many African cup we have have won since Kwasi Nyantakyi took over he is on record to be the first GFA President to lose the cup in our own backyard when we fully host it I know you would bring the 2000 one we were a co-host and that does not count.

Slimzay I've been on the same page with you on most topical issues but this time around I beg to differ. In the first place don't you think it's a conflict of interest for the head of soccer administration to also be the chairman of a club that's under his leadership? I don't know where in any serious soccer nation this will be allowed to stand. Secondly, why did he take up the position of BS Management Committee head? Selfish parochial interest!!! Does per diem ring a bell? Though Kwasi Arhin may have overeached it also stands to say that this wielding of 'all power' by the GFA Chairman is detrimental to progress.

The only solution is what the writer stated. Either there is division of labor to take some of the responsibilities from Kwasi Nyantehyi a much wider decision making and approval body set up of all football administrators to have an eye on some of the things being done by the GFA. The current problem is not just the coach. To bear it all to those who may not know; Kwasi Nyantekyi has problem with the Ayew family so when it came to picking a local coach, some members of the committee suggested Selas Tetteh who has been tested at the international level but Kwasi Nyantekyi went against the idea with the flimsy excuse that, Kwasi Appiah should be given the job due to the fact that he has been an assistant coach for the stars for five good years and knows the players better. (What the committee members failed to pointout to Nyantekyi is that, the set of players Kwasi Appiah coached as an assistant for five years were the Appiah, Essien, John Mensah and co group who were already fading out and don't even like he Kwasi Appiah as a coach anyway). That excuse was not Kwasi Nyantekyi's intention at all; he knew that if Selas Tetteh gets the job, he will not listen to any interference against Dede Ayew who enjoys a lot of trust from Selas Tetteh. Nyantekyi insisted on Kwasi Appiah knowing very well that just like himself, K. Appiah also have a score to settle against the Ayew family. Kwasi Appiah's lack of technical know how, started right from day one when his list of call-ups came out. Besides the Ayews, why will you leave players Quincy, Muntari and a few others and rather pick a player like E.Clotey. Why give a captain arm band to a player like Asamoah Gyan. The guy walks whenever he loses the ball. He has no influential capabilities. Asamoah Gyan will go down as the worse Black Stars captain right after Kwasi Appiah in the history on of the team. If nothing is done to break or check Kwasi Nyantekyi, Kwasi Appiah and Asamoah Gyan clan, we should just kiss the world Cup qualification goodbye.

When you have the Chairman of the GFA executive committee as Chairman of the Management Team of the Black Stars there will be no accountability and this is what is happening. In the world that we lived in, when you realized you are not accountable to your actions, you will develop the tendency to do this things in your own parochial way. Formerly, Pappoe was in charge of the Black Stars Mgt Team and he was accountable to Nyantakyi and what happened? Ghana played two world cups successively; currently it will be fool hardiness to think that all is well and that this Black Stars will go to Brazil. We have players like the Ayews (I mean all the 3 boyz)Essein, Sulley Mutari, Kelvin Boateng(yes KB)! and some few that was assembled for South Africa. We need a world-cup winning coach and certainly not James Akwasi Appiah who allowed that stupid BBC writer now attached to the GFA and some tribal bigots to influence him to jettisoned the best players like the Ayews. All is not lost, we can regroup and select the best for the WC qualifying series. We don't have a coach who understands the game and read the game so let him go and handle the Black Queens and bring on Sellas Tetteh the first Blackman to win the Under 20 World Cup. Ghana shall rise again but the likes of Asamoah Gyan,Painstil and Derrick Boateng should be retired. Nyantakyi should not be allowed to be the Chairman of the Black Stars Mgt Team and Diarra should not go near the Black Stars again. They are the seed of discords in the Black Stars and not the Ayews or the Sulley Mutari or Kevin Boateng. The best Players play in Europe and not the Arab Oil fields and it is abominable to elevate such a player to National Captain- Tsineke!!haba!!My heart is bleeding.

Exactly and I want to speak to the accountability part of your comment. Yes when Pappoe was in charge he was accountable to Nyantakyi but for selfish interest he jettisoned Pappoe and even campaigned for others to stand against Pappoe which the others declined but the late Jordan Anagble colluded with him and won. Unfortunately Jordan is now history. When Kwasi Nyantakyi asked for the $70,000 for the media from Government and was 'found out' they quietly took that off the budget but till date the Ministry of Sports connived and never told the general public what amount and for what was approved for AFCON. Why were all these ministers and all GFA officials in South Africa? Per diem and selfish interest, somebody? I must confess that's the reason why some of us unfortunately don't wish BS well because these CROOKS will be rewarded inspite of the WANTON INJUSTICE & CRUELTY they're taking Ghana soccer through. Naniama!!!!
