Who cares about what Akwesi Appiah did for you? What about the rest of the squad. He has no idea what coaching is, hence our downfall.

Appiah and Nyantakyi need choir boys who will only follow instruction without asking questions even if the direction given is wrong. You cannot never under stimate the importance of experience

Nice to read that player admits the contribution of others and also the Coach. Many think in other ways and go away with big heads

You can learn some of Essien's skills but not his uncommitted and disloyalty to his country.

Ghana played a good game despite all these troubles. We drew against a strong side like Germany for the first time and was not disgraced in any of the other matches. The group was strong and we had very youthful players whose finishing was sometimes poor. We also committed mistakes that cannot be blamed on a coach.

Essien loyalty to Ghana over the years led to his numerous knee injuries, every time he come. to play for Ghana he get injured. The player said he learn from Essien coaching tips.Note he did not say he learn from appiah coaching skill,Essien has played club football in Europe under world class coaches far better than Appiah.Appiah might be good guy as you said but he is not good coach, and the players who plays in Europe under a better world class coach than appiah knows that and the difference. That tactical level and organizational quality is hard for the players to ignore.Ghana come last in the group, did not win a single game and Appiah has done a great job as coach for finishing last? and get rewarded with a new contract because he is a decent guy who come last and did not get disgraced.A decent guy and been captain of your country makes appiah a good coach.ohh..africa
